This episode exceeded expectations, what a unique way to do a crossover episode between Ultraman shows. @@VanishEclipse4867 that's possible, though I feel Hellnarak having Nijikagachi's left arm complicates things a little. That reminds me of the team up with Ultraman Tiga and Ultraman (Hayata). Maybe that's how I should view unions like that between two Ultras from two different shows. Ultraman Dyna felt the exact same way. This even happened on Ultraman Trigger.
Blazar has been lost and never seen one of his own kind in a long time, and while Arc is merely a similar species you can feel how overwhelmed Blazar was at seeing someone like him
@@EvilDoresh bro if the actors aren't actually busy with career but are doing things like travelling, what is tsuburaya compromising to? what do you think that makes them have to compromise like this🙄
This sounds crazy, but this episode shows the potential for the current generation of new generation heroes. Let me explain. The team consisting of Ginga-Taiga often lacked good team composition. You know the saying that "a team is more than the sum of its parts"? Well, with the previous new generation heroes, they all purely dealt damage, and so when it came time to team up, they ended up only being equal to the sum of its parts. The only times they did become more than the some of its parts is when they became Reiga, but fusing together is like the cheapest way to sell that point. They also lacked good teamwork in general, as they often tried doing things 1v1 style against huge threats, instead of coordinating attacks together. Now let’s look at our new roster of new generation heroes. Sure, Z still might be purely a powerhouse, but Trigger can use the power of the eternity core, Decker can act as the team’s tank with his shield, Blazar’s spiral burrade means any shields can be pierced through as seen in this episode, and Arc has LITERAL PORTALS.
@@5uspicious_Persontbf they aint got time for that with the eggs everywhere and Hellnarak and all. Unless Hellnarak retreats for a short time than they have time
I gotta say it's a unique way for a crossover episode. Feels more serious than other newgen crossover. The absence of Blazar's main casts makes it more mysterious whether it's the same universe as Gento or not, regards the real-world reasons haha. How the power-transfer scene, the intercuts between Blazar and Arc finishers makes it even better. Love it!
Hellnarak is such a great design, but that roar 😂😂😂 That's not a roar, that's the sound my dad would make everytime I woke him up from an afternoon nap :V
arc meet Blazer is take the cake okay show but why we do have ultraman New Generation Gaia and Agul why why why I thought 2025 is a new generation gaia and agul why i to wait a 2028 year why
Because like I said next week, it’s a possibility. 2028 would be the 30 year anniversary of Ultraman Gaia, and if you think of it, Ginga and Victory can kinda be seen as new generation Gaia and Agul or even Orb and Juggler
I can confirmed this episode features actual Ultraman Blazar and Earth Garon despite not having the sKARD members appeared on-screen but it was obvious it was Gento became Ultraman Blazar and the sKARD members also piloting Earth Garon
This episode makes me think back to when Ultraman Tiga travelled to a time period where Ultraman (Hayata) was a mighty hero in the making. Now I want to watch Ultraman Blazar again on Blu-ray.
Don’t do crossovers if you can’t even get the right characters back. The audience connects with the cast and the person who learned/developed into Ultraman. Not having the host and only the suit is just a hollow experience. You did this with Asuka in Decker, and now here with Blazar. Don’t even bother if you can’t properly show the casts coming into contact with each other.
Yeah, I laugh so hard at the 2nd top comment saying "this exceeded expectations". How shitty were their expectation for this obvious lack of sincerity episode to be "exceeding expectation"
@@lsrrr3857I guess what I mean is the episode didn't take the usual predictable route crossovers take. Ultraman crossovers, esp New Gen ones, usually just end with a tag-team fight between both Ultras and the kaiju. It can be done well, like the Ace episode in Z, but the formula's starting to feel a bit stale. It's almost predictable, in a way. This time, however, we get a round 2 where Arc and Blazar fight their respective foes in different worlds. It's a nice twist on the usual formula, and it's at least decently executed IMO. And Arc getting Blazar's markings and doing Blazar's prayer pose is a powerful moment, foreshadowed by Zangill seeing Blazar's silhouette two eps ago. The way it's handled also fits Blazar's communication theme; even without words, even across worlds, the desire to protect is the same. I also like how the power transfer involves Blazar grasping Arc's hand, much like how Gento grasped Blazar's hand when they first bonded together. I don't think they _didn't_ care, if they respected the themes of Blazar as a show this much. Actor schedules are a thing as well, so I'm willing to give Tsupro the benefit of the doubt here. Though I guess Zi-O prepared me for the possibility of major characters not returning, so I'm not as bummed by it as people are. Is the crossover perfect? No, it could be better. Do I want to see the Blazar cast return? Yeah, as long as they're handled well. But what we got isn't the dumpster fire people are making it out to be, at least IMO. If anything, I take more issue with the talk show between Arc and Blazar's casts than the episode itself.
Right. Arc met Blazar. Both fought the Kaiju, then Blazar sent Arc back to his world, then both Ultras defeated both kaiju in a synchronized way? And Blazar world's Ishido prefers tea? And next episode, someone has a problem about his daughter being a TV reporter. Ultra-greetings from Brazil! Hi Indonesia guys!
Yuma finds himself in an alternate Earth where things are somewhat the same but different as he witnesses Hellnarak fully materialized fighting against a robot kaiju whom alternate Ishido Shu calls Earth Garon from that Earth's kaiju response force SKARD. Yuma later sees his SKIP crew not just Ishido also being members of the GDF in that Earth being field operatives. Alternate Shu covers for Yuma in a sense putting two and two together already. Yuma learns that time flows differently in the alternate Earth where the rift Hellnarak came from only showed up a few hours ago whereas it has been a full week on their end. It wasn't long before Blazar showed up as Yuma sees this Earth has an Ultraman of their own. Seeing alternate versions of his team and Ultra fighting to keep Hellnarak from crossing the rift again, Yuma steps in as Arc who still had not recovered entirely but both him and Blazar manage to deal a fatal blow to Hellnarak finding his weakness until a Ghost Bazanga hatched from one of the cocoons allowing Hellnarak the time to return to Yuma's Earth. Blazar helps Arc return to his Earth by throwing him at it after lending him some of his strength. Yuma returns to his Earth and to the SKIP crew only to find out four days has passed on his Earth and that Hellnarak has made things dire for Hoshimoto City. Yuma realizing he can't fight Hellnarak alone runs forth and turns to Arc again and was able to fight Hellnarak with no distractions thanks to GDF dealing with the cocoons and the SKIP crew using the sound to keep them from hatching. Arc however could not beat Hellnarak and is driven to a corner until he realize he has some of Blazar's powers. While in Blazar's Earth, Blazar struggles with Ghost Bazanga and also driven to a corner. Arc drawing on his imagination creates a new power from the power Blazar lent him creating the Blazar Cube to connect to the Arc Sword replicating the Spiral Barrade. Both Ultras at the same time unleash a Spiral Barrade at their foe striking true with Ghost Bazanga slain and Arc taking out Hellnarak for good forcing the Spiral Barrade through with his Arcium Beam once again bringing an end to the demon that threatened both worlds. Both versions of Shu Ishido knows Yuma is Arc and both manages to cover for him. I like how Ultraman Arc series has no true filler episodes as even the crossover arc between Ultras was organically woven into the story thanks to the rift left behind from Zadime's death and that the crossover wasn't merely two episodes but a full four episode arc leading to the team-up in the last one which instead of defeating the foe in that dimension is instead became a spiritual team-up where this Ultra gains strength from the past Ultra and uses it to save the day defeating the big foe that returned to his dimension. Basically it showed to Arc and Yuma that Blazar is fighting with him and that he as an Ultra is never fighting alone.
This makes me think this a new generation ultraman rather than ultraman jack. Simply because of how the story is similar to ultraman. Just like how zoffy tells ultraman that humanity can’t be saved and blah blah blah the woman in his dream talked to him and tells him the same thing
