Dji mimo app allows to apply the dji colour and then there is filters too... which can be applied to the Dlog.. also there is dji app called lightcut whicj does the same... u can connect it to bluetooth and wifi and then transfer the files
I don't usually comment on videos but dude, I'm an engineer that recently got into content creation and picked this camera up thinking it would be so easy, and IT IS. I literally overcomplicated the use of this camera because it truly does do most of the work for you, but my technical FOMO made me constantly go back and forth between manual settings such as ISO, exposure and additional refinements. I've seen countless videos on how to use this camera effectively, what are the best manual settings and the whole annoyance with ND filters, you simplified the use of this sensor while giving great input and honest recommended tips. From someone that loves short, concise, yet effective information, THANK YOU. 🙌🙌
No problem!! It means to world to me that this helped man. Really wishing you the best with your pocket 3 man they can be so dope. Even myself I still try not to overcomplicate my use for it and remember its true purpose. Thanks brother!
I’ve suggested to dji that the touchscreen zoom/tilt function could be repurposed to shutter speed, exposure compensation or iso while in manual mode. This would make the camera almost perfect
That would would be HUGE! Haha hoping they listen. Honestly think they would be able to change something like that with an update and not a whole new generation
I stumbled across your channel and not one to leave comments often. But have to say having seen now a few of your videos they are put together extremely well..the content itself and the look and editing is very good and even the studio background setup all comes together nicely. Good job! Keep the vids coming and keep up the good work. 👍👍
sheesh, I appreciate you taking the time to let me know what you think! Especially if you dont leave comments often. Really means a lot to me, can thank you enough!
Appreciate you taking the time to check it out and let me know that! Heck yeah definitely do all the research you can to make sure it’s the right fit for you but I really do hope this helped !
I love your style, RJ! You don’t need to show off what you know; you just demonstrate it, and that’s awesome. You have top-notch content, and I’m hooked on your channel. Subscribed and ready to keep learning with you!
Thats so genuine and I cant thank you enough for it! Really appreciate you taking the time to tune in and for the kind words especially. We'll keep learning together 🫡
I have seen all your videos and love them all!!:) I truly belive that you will stand a big name in the tech niche if you keep posting such high quality videos! Remember me!
Great Video, als always! Just received my Pocket 3 and i'm thrilled to test it on my trip to Asia! Also Great advices to adjust the footage, thank you!
Good stuff bro. I too have the Pocket 3 and your footage looks way better than mine on my Channel. I have just started venturing out doing more live shoots versus talking head stuff. Again I'm digging your production. Sub'd for sure
Thanks a ton, brother, you saved me... I was worried about how to optimize my videos with my new Pocket 3. Now I need help with keeping my hands steady, my hands still have so much shake that I cannot get those buttery smooth shots... is there something I can learn, practice or do to improve my handling? please help!!!
Yeah I’ve had that problem in the past too! Since it’s so light it can be hard to hold steady like a camera on a gimbal! It won’t be perfect and i hope this makes sense - but if you can more so let the OP3 “rest” in your hands instead of trying to forcefully hold it still it can make for smoother movements. It helped me with cameras and general and has helped me out with the pocket 3 as well!
Great info in this - especially about the Conversion LUT vs Creative LUT. If we shoot in Log, should we always use the conversion LUT first? And then apply a Creative LUT on top of it. Or is a Creative LUT on it's own enough?
@ImageMaven for sure! The conversion takes the video to normal colors and then the creative does all the fancy stuff with highlights, shadows, temperature, color saturation etc. you can also still use creative luts on normal footage but it won’t have as deep an impact. You’ll need to tune it down more or it’ll make the image look whack. Hope all that helps & wishing you the best !
@@RJCLAYBTS Yes, it helps a lot! Thank you again. Love your videos. You have great energy and great content. I ordered my Pocket 3 a couple weeks ago and just waiting for it to arrive. Stock is very low in Canada.
I believe that the FPV modes ignore the gimbal speed changes and make them all super fast. Might want to fact check me on that, but I was wondering why my gimbal speed didn't change with the adjustments I was making. They only took when I changed the gimbal mode to Follow or Tilt-Locked.
So (hope this makes sense and forgive me for the amount of times im about to use the word “joystick”) the gimbal speed itself and joystick speed are different. In FPV the gimbal itself will move fast according to your hand/camera movement since FPV is more often used to give the impression of fast/ sudden movement and direction changes, like an FPV drove does. The Joystick speed only controls the speed of the gimbal via the joystick, but not the gimbal itself depending on the gimbal mode it’s in. So in FPV its going to move according to camera/hand movement, changing the joystick settings will affect pan speed but only via the joystick
@@RJCLAYBTS I see where the confusion is. In your video, you adjusted the Joystick speed--great tip. I'm referring to the Gimbal Speed, which you can set to slow, default or fast. I noticed mine was looking a little jerky when I moved my hand, so I went in and tried to adjust it, but it seemed to not make a difference until I changed the Gimbal mode to something other than FPV. I don't think it's well documented. I suppose mine could have a bug as well.
Well thats depends on a lot of different things you need, and the price you’re looking for as well. But i think this is definitely the best budget, bang for you buck camera you can use for vlogging
So you can on the desktop version. But I recently found out you can convert Dlog within the DJI mimo app! Promise I’m not trying to push my content on you but I talked about it in a video I put out just yesterday if you need a video to watch on it! But it’s a feature called color recovery in the DJI mimo app!
You can find a bunch on Amazon for sure! The ones I mainly use are www.telesinstore.com/collections/new-arrival/products/telesin-cpl-nd-filter-set-for-dji-pocket3?ref=tbfygxwe But also the k&f vaiable ND filters on Amazon
Depending on your situation! If you're in a controlled environment like your home with your light setup not too much, but yes if you take your camera outside and especially if you're moving around. Basically if your lighting is changing at all, so will your camera setting need to!
Dji mimo app allows to apply the dji colour and then there is filters too... which can be applied to the Dlog.. also there is dji app called lightcut whicj does the same... u can connect it to bluetooth and wifi and then transfer the files
That’s awesome to hear! So clutch they did that for phone editors. Pinning your comment in hopes it can help some people out. Thanks!
how can i get the lut into this? or is it allready in light cut?
