I've been obsessing over the Tamron 35-150 lens for the last WEEK, and here you come! Lol!! I'm ordering it soon though. I just need it! I'll be using it for basketball mostly. It looks like you're living my dream though. Keep thriving!
It’s a game changer!!! If you can id try and find it on refurbished because that price is heavy 😂 I can’t wait to use it for basketball. But thank you as always haha you’re too dope
Funny how our kits are so similar when it comes to run and gun. Florida sun is no joke, I moved to Miami more than a decade ago and I still can't get used to the sun slapping my bald head
Yeah those knee pads I know are the real heroes. Them knees aren't replaceable like these lenses, man. Great video, I just picked up the 35-150 too, those touchdown videos so crisp its wild. Your editing I've seen is also on another level man. Glad to see you putting the 17-28 to good use ;)
Check out the hex knee pads that basketball players wear. They’re slimmer so you look less ridiculous and they’re easy to move in. I used them when I was shooting basketball a lot.
Only once haha, it didn’t work out for me too well but to be fair I only gave it one try. I’ve definitely heard success stories and seen content where it works out for people. But I only saw that strategy after I already ordered grey card unfortunately
I already had it before the fx3! And it’s not so much about battery life but being able to use two different lenses at the same time. Don’t really have time to switch out in between plays. But the 70-200 on the crop sensor also really helps me get good reach for far away plays
How does one get into shooting pro sports? How experienced do you have to be to land that? Could I do it for free ? lol also would I be able to get away shooting on a diff type of cam? GH6 gh7?
Honestly I'd say the 28-75. You may not have AS much reach, but when the ball comes towards the paint near you the crop is going to be too close on a 35 to really keep up with the movements and track your subject. it then becomes a 50-234mm in 60fps and even further in 120fps. Here's a video by Peter Sarellas that talks about the lens on the fx30! The 15 minute marks is where he specifically talks about the crop factor on the fx30 with the 35-150 : th-cam.com/video/WQtG1bRbwqI/w-d-xo.html. - hope that helps!
Cool overview! Thanks for putting it out there. Would be great to see a video like this about your focusing - manual vs AF, which modes when, etc.
Dude! Such a good video!
Appreciate you letting me know! Fr!
Bro we neeed to have a video just about how you mount the osmo and use with the camera

Payment plans on camera gear haha It’s what we all signed up for in this game 😂
Great viddy fam 🫡💯
Super cool video bro. I like the setup you got going on too. Definitely didn’t expect the knee pads pretty smart no matter how “dumb” they might look.
Appreciate you bro!! And yeah the way they help beats the way they look any day 😂
Thanks for the video! Ive been wanting to hold my second camera with me but hated put it on the floor, the camera strap is a great idea!
For sure! Love to hear that it helped! Thanks for checking it out!
I use the Osmo in the same way! You're one of the first. I've seen to use it in the sports environment. It's been a game changer for me.
Its crazy how versatile that thing is! Got a million uses for it!
Funny how our kits are so similar when it comes to run and gun. Florida sun is no joke, I moved to Miami more than a decade ago and I still can't get used to the sun slapping my bald head

Just took along and gonna have to get an order in! Those look way better haha. Appreciate you for that!
Can you do a close up, so we can see how the phone and Pocket 3 are mounted exactly?
I could probably do a deeper dive! I did put the mounting pieces in the description of that helps !
My dog great vid
Appreciate you boss man! Means alot coming from ya! mean it
Have your tried using the fx3 grey body as a grey card or the Sony grey lens mount cap?
Only once haha, it didn’t work out for me too well but to be fair I only gave it one try. I’ve definitely heard success stories and seen content where it works out for people. But I only saw that strategy after I already ordered grey card unfortunately
Switch to that BC or Goody Powder. Kicks in much faster and it totally eliminates and pain.
Haven’t heard of that yet but definitely appreciate it I’ll check it out 🫡
@@tdrmrcs good callout definitely much faster relief
I’ll give it a shot 🫡
Why did you get a fx30 as well? Why not just more batteries

with a fx30 for basketball is it better to use a 35-150 or a 28-70 ?
