That's initially what I was going to charge as there was a little extra work thrown In bit I didn't sweat it. I charged over 1400 initially but offered a discount if he left a review and subscribed to the channel.
Damn 1400 bones.... i was thinking way less. i need to re-evaluate how i start charging. i feel like im under charging people lol i woulda probably charged 800-900 but thats just me. i think its time to update my pricing honestly
@@mcfwelding also some shops won't likely take that job on. Or frame cracks because they're mechanics aren't experienced welders. And the huge liability it carries. We bring a lot of convenience and exp to the table but why should we get paid less?
alot of work and liability if a machine dies on a job like this, the customer may simply get another guy but you, would be buying other machines,,seems a 2k or so job to me, but you really seem to be trying to get good word of mouth, I do not think these people realize the favor your doing them... love the channel and the videos
I don't think so. I think a lot of people think I work out of a Honda civic and assume they can get work done cheap because I'm a down to earth young dude. I tell them straight up. There is no shortage of work for me and it's not like I want to weld your project up in the blistering cold or searing heat. My machines and tools cost me thousands. Also I started this business homeless.....I slept in my truck and bought tools and equipment instead of getting an apartment. It was worth it. Still is👌 thanks for following my channel.
