Grazie a voi Charles! ✉️🌻😊!!! I came across this theme by accident, the orchestration is so typical Morricone, beautiful as always! 😃btw yersterday I saw the movie about Ravel, 'Bolero' have you seen it?
Yes, I saw Bolero and I'm glad you saw it too ! I really liked the film, faithful to the personality of the composer and the context of his life...I'm a great admirer of Ravel's music, and with my daughter we went twice to visit his house of Montfort-l'Amaury a long time ago (which we see in the movie), a house that remains as it was at the time when he lived there (but the maintenance remains difficult, rhe current beneficiaries not participating financially at all). On his historic piano, my daughter played "in the manner of Borodine" a little Ravel's piano piece...Memories !☺️ On your CD, your interpretation of "prelude" from Le Tombeau de Couperin" really pleased me, like all the pieces of Dedicatoria et Reflexion...I am savoring them little by little , I love them and will tell more about them soon...Many many thanks Hetty 🎵😃
@@charlesalessandri3286 we all liked the movie very much too, and were thinking about visiting his house! So really great you have been there twice and your daughter has played on his piano!!! It is really a pity they have difficulties preserving it, as it's really important to do so! Btw if you want you can mail me, that's perhaps easier! Your sister has got my email adress! 😂😃 Greetings from the sunny north, Hetty
@@charlesalessandri3286 btw, I was always listening to Vlado Perlemuter, have his CD with Ravel, but also before that time (☺️)I bought his LP (the same one) which I still have! 😃
Ah Hetty, so nice ! I didn't know neither this film nor this music ...Bellissimo ! E grazie mille...di tutto !😉🫠🌷⚘️
