Beautiful restoration of a rare TT bike. LOVE that color of blue. Classic and period correct. Thanks for sharing! My 1st bike had friction shifting and I was terrible at getting a shift right when under pressure and climbing.

Sorry I should’ve been clearer. Did you upgrade the components on the rebuild to Campagngolo Super Record or was the bike originally fitted with them? I am asking because it was a Czech bike and maybe it had Czech components.
@@voxmarsh6458 The bike is built exactly according to the period photograph and my memories. It was original on Campagnolo Super Record. Czech components were too far from of that quality. For the Czech national team and better sports clubs there was a limited small amount of Favorit Special and Favorit Super special with Campagnolo equipment.
@@OnRoadVintageBikes Je to tak. Sice před pár lety snaha byla, ale jak to dopadlo to vidíme. Ať se na mě nikdo nezlobí, ale Favorit za cenu Colnaga nebo Bianchi byl nesmysl. Dle mého měli udělat návrat na oceli rámu F1 a komponentech dostupných a dle přání. Levnější verzi na Shimanu a pro fanšmekry na Campě. Dostali by se na cenu od 20-30t. a to už by se myslím mnoho lidí rozhodlo pro Favorita.

Smutné co z Favoritu zbylo. Takový šikovný lidi tam pracovali. 😭 Centrální plánování, neschopnost vedení, po revoluci ani nemluvím.
