Same its actually really funny but i was just explaining to someone that for these larger games you used to be able to buy a book, basically a manual, with explanations, lore, etc. I'm not sure they even do that anymore but it definitely helped.
Good tips. Trying not to watch too many videos on the game before I play. But I feel I need a little guidance since there seems to be a lot to this game. I’m glad I preordered it and I can’t wait to play it this weekend. Also nice job on the creating your character. Looks kinda like you.
Love you guys! Just read up on the drama that evidently has been going on. I apreciated your response on reddit. I have allways understood you as doing a service for gamers, by gamers. You wont lose this supporter.
One of the best parts of this game is everyone saying different skill are essential. Weightlifting is SUPER overrated. You can get gear and ships that greatly outpace that skill. First mission I got a boost pack that increases by 20kg which is the same as two skill points. Don't waste your time with it. I completely avoid space combat so piloting is fairly useless too. Ship combat is the only part of the game I don't like, so I just avoid all those skills expect increasing grav jump for later systems far away and increasing my cargo hold which is amazing. 10% increase to cargo hold is WAY better than increasing your carry weight. My must haves are Stealth, Persuasion, Surveying, Security, and all the crafting skills. Mostly because they unlock mechanics that you can't really use without them.
Excellent video as always. Played about 8 hours and yeah Bethesda did a terrible job at the tutorial. Game is fun and I’m excited to to learn its systems, but yeah everything is more convoluted then it needs to be and the game throws a lot at you very quickly. More is not always better
