    This video has been so helpful! I have been anemic or barely above that level, since my teens. I just checked my MCV scores and they have been above 92 for the past 15 years. Did my doctor even once mention anything about a problem? Nope. Not a peep. I do have MTHFR SNPs for the two main genes and COMT. I do use a methylated B complex now and I will add any other cofactors that I am not taking at present. Thank you for this valuable information!

    Thank you !
    I heard that a lack of folic acid can cause canker sores.
    Guess I'll cancel my order and order methylfolate instead.

    Doctor do you recommend nutritional yeast powder should be taken to obtain the maximum in real authenticity since supplements can be synthetic ?????? Another reason is, we're trying to get Benfotiamine since it is lipid-soluble instead of water-soluble.

    So if i am low in folate and have been told to take folic acid whh should i if there are so many risks? Thank you

  • @chuckbecker8735
    @chuckbecker8735 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    We take a costly B complex of the '''enzymated, active methyl'' vitamin B's. A complete complex due to the admonitions that folks should always take a complex because the B vitamins become problematic if they are taken out of proportion or ratio to one another.

    I'm suffering a deficiency due to a gastric bypass 10 years ago. After declining number in my blood labs for the past 5 years, I'm now fully tanking. I've been on the bariatric team that I'm not doing well and have been ignored, so I began to do my own research and have found you and others like you (Dr. Eric Berg) on youtube that have helped to explain all this.
    My bariatric team prescribed folic acid, but I knew that was wrong. So I just bought OTC folate. I wish it was a name brand I knew (hard to trust them) but folate is hard to find! Even online!

    Amazing, thank you! And you included co factors for people that may have problems supplementing B9.
    Do you have a similar video for B12, especially for those feeling fatigue when taking it?
