It's my dream to build a studio like this :) I've practiced in spaces with a quarter of a million dollars in gear and I wasn't inspired because everything was just so easy and every sound you could think of within your reach in minutes and no noise and the always perfect acoustic like when there is no struggle, no choice to make about what gear to own, it's just... wow I remember just not using the set-up at all when I was practicing there there was an SSL board and two dragons compressors and if you're not into the audio industry basically I just said "so there was a V12 Ferrari and 2 custom mercedes jeeps in this garage that we didn't started at all"... yes... absolutely surrealist. I love myself a simple set-up. Overlooked gear, like early 8-bits stuff you can get for 50 bucks or so. I still wonder why I have a 26 inputs card with surround capabilities for... mainly because of the two excellent headphones outs tho :)
I've been waiting to see someone do a music studio in their tiny house on wheels and I think this is the first one I've seen. Looks awesome and surprisingly spacious!
Such fun meeting you! Look forward to seeing you again somewhere in Europe next summer whilst you're on the boat! Thanks so much for paying us a visit on the old Made On The Road bus, brief, but lovely!
Ok, forget about the van and the box truck. I'm getting a freakin' bus! I was looking for PC setups but didn't realise that studio is what I needed to search for. Now I hope my TH-cam feed will start giving me stuff like this. This setup is awesome btw
For me, the ideas in th-cam.com/users/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
I bought an old bus that I haven't spent any time in it (mechanical nightmare). It has 4 bunks in the middle that will likely become study/recording area. I keep thinking I need sound absorbing foam everywhere but you seem to do fine without any that i can see. It's very encouraging.
oh thanks! can youlink me to that page, happy to share more info and starting up the weekly vlogs from tomorrow again so would love to spread the word 😁
Just looked back on this and happy to say this bus is still going strong and we've just started the weekly vlogs again! Hope to see some of you guys there 😁
Ahhh so many lovely messages, thank you all! We have a channel for all our adventures, definitely come over if you’re interested in the projects we’re doing 🙏🏼😊🚎
Great viddy; dream bus. Slow down with the cuts though. Nowhere a second of breathing/comprehending (what the artist just said) to be found. Gets exhausting.
Amazing Build! How did you power your keyboard while on the road? I'm still trying to figure this one out. I have an great weighted keyboard and have a hard time parting ways with it; because I'm a picky muscian.
hi. cool van! i am doing somehting similar in my ambulance :) could you give me some pointers please on your monitors setup please? i was thinking 12v amp into passive mini monitors to avoid using the inverter. I am struggling to find some decent mini passive monitors though. Would love if you could share some wisdom! Thank you!
Very nice, but it needs a better space optimization lol There are many empty walls that could be used for something; either storage or other useful studio electronics. Also, I see no sound isolation and/or optimization for recording. So yeah, it's a great build, but there's more work to be done for sure :)

Hey! I have the keyboard from when i used to perform so i already had it when started songwriting, and it has Midi so i have hundreds of thousands of options. And it's a songwriting studio, i don't claim to be an engineer so i don't need the quality to be world class for songwriting, which i live off full time :) The speakers sound amazing and i really enjoying having them MUCH more to headphones. And when there's 4/5 of us on here recording we can't all do headphones. I love this setup so i'm really happy with how it's all turned out - hope that clears some things up you're thinking
What's do you think?? Could you live in a bus with a music studio?
I can't imagine life without music, this is wonderful.
for sure, this is absolutely my dream-bus! But with a nord lead 3 instead =D
Yesssssssssss
I will love it!
I couldn't live in a bus without a music studio! Nice design, looks cozy and conducive to good work flow.
This is my dream studio so I could travel and work with other artist just like YOU!

Simply, wow. Inspiring for other musicians such as myself - collaboration is the best part!

This bus is amazing! I can think of someone named Mike who would leave his job to live in this music studio on wheels!
Best till now i have watched. being a music producer
That's a great, functional setup! Doing something similar, but as a maker space.
Wow! What a sleek conversion!
Blew me away!!! Wasn't sharing anything else today, but loved it!! I shared this to the New FB Group Minimalist Studio Recording .🤙🏽 Genius

Great viddy; dream bus.

Very inspiring bus, and great design!
i would add a washer & dryer build in 1.clean your clothing...a full shower bathroom is a must..closet space..
Great video! how is the quality of recording vocals for you? do you feel a challenge because of the close in walls/echos and acoustic reverb?
sorry for the late reply but no haven't had too many issues, it depends so much on processing and mix that you can hide any imperfections!
been looking for tiny home musician style lol FINALLY
just about to start up the vlogs again from tmoorrow if you're interested! glad you enjoyed the bus
@@georgeholliday123 Will be interested👍👏

Can you tell us how much you payed and how you were able to efferd that? I bet most musiciand can not even dream to be able to make this happen.
