I had such a good time at the Dutch Pen Show 2024. Meeting new people, being among so many fellow fountain pen and ink enthousiasts, and admiring all of the wonderful pens, inks and other stationery. My heart is full (and my wallet empty 😆). Let's take a look at what I brought home with me!

I am so glad you found me! I had such a fangirl reaction as I had just been thinking about you since I knew you lived over here. I had just followed you on insta to see if you mentioned coming to the show and saw those stamped plain Hobos that I love so much. I almost bought that Giant pen! I would have gone back for it but I had found a matte pen just before I ran into you. The Elvenwood is hard to come by. I have put my name down to be notified when the blanks are back in stock. I may have accidentally bought the last Pink'd...

It was such a coincidence, as I was literally headed for the exit when I heard you! Teun mentioned that many people had held and considered the pen made from Elvenwood, so I feel really lucky it was still there. I didn't know you considered buying it as well, hopefully you'll be able to get another one made from those blanks in the future. It's so stunning. Literally my first thought when I saw Journal This was out of Pink'd: "Shauna must've stocked up on those" 😂

The Elvenwood is gorgeous, congratulations for your new pen!
Love all the inks too! Almost bought the Be-Leaf myself but I have too much green inks :'( I did purchase Taccia Midori and Taccia Uguisu at Sakura's table ha ha. Can't wait to see the Shanghai Stationary and Journal This inks on your future currently inked!

Sakura's table was a dangerous place, they had SOOO many inks. In the end I couldn't pick so I didn't get anything from them, but seeing all those Taccia inks and Teranishi inks lined up... 🤩

These were all brand new to me; never heard of the pen maker or the inks. I have a pen with the Elvenwood resin and I love it. Very easy to get mesmerized by the swirls... 🤎

I think that was one of the nicest things about the pen show, getting to see/meet/browse smaller brands. And yes, the swirls in the Elvenwood resin are fantastic 🤎
