- The moment we've all been waiting for… Loretta Lynn's has arrived and Team Two Two rolled out in style. With Tate getting alternate spots, he secured his week racing at the ranch by getting to choose from three different classes to race in! The Reeds rolled out three new bike builds from the last video as well as boots and fresh lids- the kiddos made their way onto the prestigious race track on day two of the week with some practice.
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and also starting again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie. Taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. He didn't qualify outright but obviously there is always standby places. Good luck to both of them.
@@ohboy2118 injuries happen to kids and adults that qualify and they have to fill the gates out so they have an alternate list of people that can fill those positions. From what I understand they fill those positions with people that are on hand that are in that specific class and were on the cusp of making it into the race.

Seeing Chad come from riding that sketchy little track near his house in Aus....meeting Ellie. Ellie's support through the various seasons of Chad's career, now as moto-parents. Chad working his brains out through it all too. So awesome!

Well done team 22, Big learning year for them, especially considering others in their classes have been riding that track each year since they were on 50's and then in multiple classes, they have been lucky enough to have got to know the track and how the entire week goes. Im sure they will grow a lot from the entire experience no matter what the results.

You can tell its frustrating for Chad and Ellie as well but both kids got talent from where they've started. It's the process and only the beginning.
There’s one thing for certain and two things for sure and that is Kiah Reed 22 has the best looking bike on the whole ranch that baby is sweet looking I’d ride a big bike with that graphic/wheel/plastic combo

He registered as an alternate. When / if spots open up the alternates can fill the spots.
Kiah was racing so we were already going to be here so him getting a chance to feel it out is better than sitting around for the week.
It’s rough and he is underprepared but here for the experience.

Kiah is so much better then 33rd have no clue what happened but damn hate that for moto 1 she easily a top 16 rider in her class
the classes are stacked, i feel bad for them with the results they are getting knowing what they can do, especially when kiah has her starts dialed

How did tate even get a ticket when there were 60 faster kids ahead of him. He never qualified, which just sits bad with me while other kids put in the work to qualify. That's why there are regional qualifiers to weed out the best from the less experienced and now they are just giving away a ticket because of pull.
There are tons of kids who register as an alternate . They fill the spots when misfortune occurs.
Why wouldn’t he register when he is here all week with his sister.
He needs to take opportunity to learn where he can.
People in every class taking alternate positions.

Being there in person in 99-00 it was different each year 99 being dry and hot and 00 being hot and sorta wet. Also great job getting in Tate.....
