If you have one of those shop magnets on a pole, you might be able to get it out with that.

The driver side is harder to do because of the amp in the way

The hard part for me will be the fact I have a 2 12" sub box that takes up a lot of space in the trunk as the spare tire cover is partially under it and tacking out the sub box is no simple matter as it's bolted down and weights about 70lbs

How do you change just the lens on it? Or can you? Mine was cracked and then disappeared one day (fell off? some one knocked it off?) I want to just replace the cover.
Replaced the back tail light and it works but… it’s a blink off and indicates failure when using blinker

i dropped a bolt down that open space on the passenger side down on the side of the car...any suggestion on how to get it out? i cant fit my arm down in there

Where is the fuse box located on this vehicle? My taillights are not working when i press the brake pedal. Both back lights dont work? Im hoping it's the fuse box, but i dont know where it's located.

how so u get the lightbulb out the tail light?

And so the rear ends in top hats at GM wonder why these cars did not sell well. Perhaps design the car so one does not have to take half the car apart to change a bulb or two.
Oh, and not limited to GM. Once owned the wonder car, well, for everyday driving, a 1987 Volvo 240 DL. She lasted until 2014. Could actually stand inside the engine space to work if need be. Only difficulty was cleaning the flame trap. Then the other merry band of rear ends in top hats, these from Ford, bought Volvo and so on the S60, had to take off the the passenger side tire, etc., to access and change the timing belt. Oh, and interference engine as well, unlike the 240's non-interference engine (just kept a timing belt and the serpentine belt there in the trunk, the thing fails, get off the road, open the trunk, pull those out, swap them, and then drive on in bliss).
In other words, you know a product sucks when appears to be designed so that money gets made for what should be easy repairs except that your average Jane and John Doe have difficulty. See the comments here re almost took it to the shop. What they are hoping. A pox on all their houses.
