As usual, everybody is talking about how great Madonna is and how she "good she looks", but I don't see anybody mentioning that this arrangement is possibly the single best thing Kevin Antunes has ever done (assuming he was the one who did this arrangement). I didn't think any version of "Like a Virgin" could ever be worthy of following Stuart Price's version, but this is it. Using the bassline that way was brilliant, and it makes such perfect sense to take a song that has one of the most famous basslines in the history of music and focus entirely on the bass. I can't even come up with a word to describe how good this is... Plus, that obscure "for the fans" quotation from "Heartbeat" - which not only relates to the lyrics of this song, but is a song that could actually literally be about _this_ performance - is the perfect extra touch.

In many occasions, I find that many of her best performances are alone on stage. She uses too many dancers on too many performances. Some need it, like "Vogue", but in others the dancers can be distracting and remove intimacy from the performance, with too much going on stage. I think that "simple" performances like this work extremely well, very intense.
Madonna is amazing gets better every year. Best of the best. Number one forever in all she does. Nobody comes close to her talent and beauty. No one. What a kick ass woman. She should concentrate on the baseline more often with classic songs. It was ditched entirely on Open Your Heart on MDNA Tour, which is crazy
