I hope you all enjoy this new and improved version of that warm-up video I made a few years ago. You can get the transcription for this warm-up and a ton of other lessons on my Patreon page patreon.com/JeffRandallDrumming and book a lesson with me on my website JeffRandallDrumming.com.
Thank you, Jeff. All other comments took the words out of my mouth.(the background music still makes me want to open a can of marshmallows, sit around a camp fire and wonder why I feel like I've done this "loop" before.....[IYKYK😉]
The 20 min work out exercise that you Did last time really did wonders for me. I've always followed it and I follow it always😅✌️. There's no a day I don't do for almost 2 years if I'm not mistaken. The way my drumming has changed🙆♂️! I even managed to surpass my drum teacher here in Zambia🙆♂️😅🤝, Just with those simple 20 min exercises. Thank you so much 🙌🙌 Looking forward to this new and updated version. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Me too man I do the 20-minute one everyday it’s the first thing TH-cam shows me haha 🤣
Hands down, this video helped me the most getting fast results!! Highly recommend everyone to try this every day for a week and you will notice a change!
Dang, you really start to feel the burn on those 32 one-handed strokes. Thanks for the great video!
Oh man! it's so nice to see the notification from your TH-cam channel on my phone again !!!🤘🏻🤘🏻
It’s good to be back!
Yay love you warm up videos ! you make it so relaxing and meditative , thanks !
That was brutal to a beginner like me!!! Loved it! Thank you!
Thanks man, just like the 20min Warm Up Video of yours this one helps me understand what's going on with hand technique.
Feeling like a great Saturday morning 🎉
Thanks for the awesome warm up Jeff, the last round was more of a workout 😂
Keep the videos coming, I’m sure I speak for many others too, you have helped me improve so much thank you 🙏
feel like this can be my daily routine in the morning. The music is so relax. Thank you so much!
Enjoy!
You've got such a refreshing take on drum education and I love it! Kinda love the subtle music over the met too. Might have to start doing that when I practice for the vibes.
Thanks Matt.
Thank you Jeff. There are so many TH-cam videos on drums, various ways to learn and how to play. You are my go to if I want to learn a technique or try a different exercise. I’m a 60 year old beginner and your videos have helped me immensely. You are very much appreciated. Cheers, Dave
Thanks very much Dave.
Thanks Jeff, you're a great drummer and a great teacher!
Thank you Jerry.
Always thanks 🙏🏼greetings 👋🏼
Thanks for sharing. Great warm-up.
Amazing warm up. Just made it through. Thank you!)
Thanks Jeff! Subscribed!! :) i have been following your 20 minute warm up practice and has helped me a lot so far as a beginner.
Austin Burcham comes back to TH-cam AND a new Jeff Randall warm up!? Awesome!
Great warm-up session Jeff! Also your new booth looks awesome. Hoping to get mine ;-)
Thanks so much Jeff! Your 20 min warm up and whipping stroke are amazing...and this one now blew me away! ❤
Like your last warm up video; I tend to crap out at the end. I'm good with that. I'm still learning. Thanks👍
Many thanks for your videos, Jeff! Extremely useful👍
It's my pleasure.
🫵🏻you are great teacher 👌🏻💐
Thank you so much 🤝🏻
This is great.🥁 Just started learning a few months ago. Stoked on my progress but I need to structure my practice routine. This really helps. Appreciate you. 🤘🥁
I hope this gives you the structure you need!
Wow… This was great, Jeff! Such a simple approach escaped me the last several years relearning to play with physical challenges, but I think this is exactly what I need for dexterity conditioning. (I think the calming music helped me as well. Good choice there!) After a cup of tea and psyching myself up a bit, I gave it a shot. I feel like I managed ok, though the struggle built up to the last 16- then 32-per hand portion where my arms started skipping beats. Still, this will be a great exercise I can run through each day, refining my control along the way. So thanks again for the video! …and the challenge 😊
Glad to hear it’s a challenge for you!
Loved this one, thanks Jeff!
Always look up too you! Great Content ^^🔥🔥🥁✅
New lil studio looks dope Jeff 👌🏻
Been using your other warm up for a year trying out various ways etc, this is a fantastic new warm up for me to experiment with once I master it. Thanks Mr Randall
Looks like a nice effective workout like the 20 minutes workout you did time ago . Later on I will try it playing along with you Jeff . Thank you !
Yes indeed! It’s the new and hopefully improved version of that warm-up.

Thank you! I’ve been doing the 20-minute warm up EVERYday so this is much appreciated 🙌🏼
Right on! I think you’ll enjoy this one even more.
I already had the feeling... It's now confirmed that my finger technique is in need of some work! Lots and lots and lots of work! Thanks for a killer video and workout!
woooow ...THATS GREAT ...lovely Greetings from a very olde Hobby Drummer from Music City Hannover ....Northern Germany ...
I recently got the opportunity to start playing drums again for the first time in over 4 years. I've never owned a kit myself, but have always just played around on my knees and been fortunate enough to carry on from there with whatever natural talent I might have had. But this time, I decided to try to do things a little more proper by learning how to play with thoughtful technique applied and have been actually trying to get into rudiment practice to build up my chops a bit and just try to approach this more methodically than just getting in front of something and hitting it. I found your old warmup video about a month ago and EVERY time I sat down to the practice pad, I went through that whole thing before jumping to rudiments. It got to the point where I'd mouth along the intro "In our LAST video, we went through all things hand technique" just to get myself in the mode and sort of laugh at how familiar I'd gotten with it all. Anyway, I was super excited to see that you put out a new warmup and actually went through it last Saturday, the day before my first session back on the kit.
I really think all the practice has made a bit difference in my comfort with the sticks and my general ability to play for a longer period of time without fatigue/creeping soreness. But just wanted to say thanks for putting out quality content for all skill levels and look forward to whatever else you put out here in the future.
Final note: The music in the background of all your warmups is so much more engaging than a simply click. I understand the benefit of getting used to a click, but ultimately I'm looking to play with other instruments so warming up with something more musical is so much more compelling and natural.
Yeah!
Instant like!
Love these series)
Thanks!
Thanks Jeff😊
My pleasure!
Hey Jeff, I have learning drum and your slide technique video helped me tremendously. It’s kind of a personal request but have you thought about creating a video on breaking down the common technique on double stroke rolls and technique behind to making it sound even and fast? I know that there are tons of video out there but I feel there is no one that could break it down in a simple manner that also looks beautiful, classic and timeless just like other technique videos. Hope you have a great day ❤❤❤
It’s on the agenda for sure.
Great work man
This is a video l see myself sending to my younger students for home workouts... When they need some coaching when I'm not around. Only if you approve of course
Of course! Share on bud.
@@JeffRandallDrumming What a gentleman... Thanks ; ]
Amazing Jeff! Simple and effective! What are the bpms of the whole warm up??
50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 bpm
@@JeffRandallDrumming Thanks bro! Love your videos ❤️
Gracias!!
your warm ups, that 20 minute is in permanent rotation ..
got anything like that for limb independence ?
thanks again!
It’s in the works!
@@JeffRandallDrumming thank you, continued success.👏👏👏
Love it
Thank you sir!
In round 3 the music seems a bit too loud cause it's hard to hear the click. That's with headphones. 👍
♥️🔥
Hello grey shirt, bye iconic black shirt! 💪
Like if you're showing up for this consistently
I’m looking to get two practice surfaces, one quiet and one normal surface. Is there a practice pad or two that you’d recommend I get?
Hello Jeff! what should I do if my thumb muscle hurts, especially when I play the hi-hat using the Moeller method (130bpm)?
Sounds like you just need to give your thumb muscle some time to grow. Be sure to warm-up and do condition with exercises like these and you’ll get there!
Sensacional, e fiquei surpreso e feliz com os resultados de ter adotado o "warm with me" em minha rotina, pois encontrei dificuldade apenas na última sessão, a partir de 16 Strokes por mão.
