I have so much good to say about this video! Ziggy! The outtakes (I don’t know how you do it!)! Love seeing the rescapes and special projects around the fish room. Even the emergency break to rescue your poor finches from the hungry noodle. These types of videos are my absolute fav to watch, well done!
Your videos on KFS are the best in the genre. I've watched each probably a dozen times and keep them on my TV as video wallpaper occasionally. So glad you have decided to make content on your own channel. I have watched every channel on the hobby for years, and NO ONE is even close to your level regarding what I want to see. I want a LONG form video like this that shows all the wild, custom detail (+ mad scientist vibe) of your setups and what it takes to keep everything up and running. I also LOVE the chaos and the wildness. If you ever run out of content ideas, just remember it's always going to be super interesting to simply see how you've got everything set up and the progress on tanks. The tubs you have outside are also huge for future video content. Please keep putting out longer (30 min +) videos like this, stay consistent, and there's no reason you can't grow this channel into something massive. You're super interesting, well-spoken, humble, experienced, intelligent, and simply a natural on camera. Keep up the great work.
Ah wow…. That’s blown me away ! , thank you SO much for your kind words and support. I truly appreciate it. I’m so pleased you’re enjoying this experience with me.🙏🙏🙏❤️
HOWDY from TEXAS ! thank you Adrian, for not killing the snake. so many people would have . where I live we have 4 types of venomous snakes and lots of non venomous ones...I catch the venomous ones and take them down to a near by river and let them go . your fish room is awesome !
I love your fish room and the garden as well. Years ago we had a problem with a carpet snake as well. It made its way into the aviary and took one budgie. Very sad. I can't remember out of my head if you have shell dwellers (Multis) as well. That's my plan for my next tank. Greeings from the Lockyer Valley. 😀

Wonderful. That head lamp is a great idea! It's cold here in WA state usa but the days are getting longer, so outdoor tubbing can begin soon, and this video is sure inspiring.

Ha 😂 thanks so much…. Those guys are pretty harmless and non venomous and living in the bush in Australia you get used to them early. It’s the venomous ones you need to watch. Next video I show some red belly black snakes that were ‘discovered’ by me this week. ❤🙏🦘🇦🇺✅

great video and wonderful that you not only released the snake but also found it some good cover to be released into, so refreshing to see someone that values life and not the usual human reaction that because the snake killed the birds then the snake should be destroyed. thank you for giving me some faith that there are others out there that value life and understand the snake was just being a snake and that there is nothing evil or malicious about them. in my best ozzie accent - good on you mate!

Your tanks are so beautiful. Health permitting I’m going to set up my first tank in decades and my first ever planted tank. Those guppies are nature as art. I’ve saved your video for inspiration. Beautiful snake…I grew up in the Southern and Southwest US and love snakes…even the naughty ones. My father taught me to respect and safely handle snakes. From the time I was 14 until I became too disabled to do so I always moved them away from heavily populated areas, as well as roads and streets. People run over them on purpose which really annoys me. The first time I moved a rattlesnake my future hubby almost passed out…he had pretty bad snake phobia but tolerates them now.
That’s a very cool message to receive, I do love pretty much everything in nature (except ticks lol) and I try to keep everyone as happy and healthy as possible whilst making it beautiful to look at. I’m sorry to hear of your health problems and hope that you do manage to get a tank set up, even a simple one that you can plant out beautifully and put a stunning beta to give you a little wet pet. Another really simple idea that doesn’t have too many plants would be a shell dweller tank as they are forever entertaining and super easy to take care of. Best of luck please send me a picture of what you set up sending you much love and blessings. ❤️🙏

@@AdriansFishroom your a legend mate i appreciate it !! So weird trying to record and talk ect ect definitely going to take some practice! Only using my phone so far
I lift my crystal ball in my hands against the light and see.... Just in case, I lift the betta fish bowl - to compare and be sure.... and I see the same thing.... I see ... that at the end of March there will be 10K subscriptions ! 🙃👌 💥
@@AdriansFishroom yeah. Almost everyday before the lights get turned on, the males are on their spawning color where they get black on the base of their dorsal and ventral fins and the whites intensify.
Another great video, really enjoying your channel, just a quick question? What causes the hair algea and how do you get rid of it? I've had a shrimp tank cycling for 3 months without any algea and now i'm starting to see a bit of hair algea starting to slowing build up..... :)
Yeah good question and it can usually be put down to 2 things…. Too much light, too many nutrients. If they are cherry shrimp (neocaridina) then I would do an 80% water change weekly for 3-4 weeks (your shrimp will love it) and if Caridina 20% weekly for 5-6 weeks and turn down or turn off the lights for at least a week. Good luck with it, if you catch it early you will smash it out.❤️🙏🙌🏻🤩👊😊
My plants always die within a few months, my fish, snails, shrimp all seem healthy. None of the critters eat the plants so maybe its the water chemistry thats the issue?
Good chance of it plus decent lighting…. More regular small water changes also keeps them happy. Try with some elodea or foxtail or if you can get it susswassertang… it requires no work and almost no light and the shrimp LOVE it
@@AdriansFishroom $3? Aint nothing $3 these days hahah. All of my tanks are ones I got free, 6ft, 4ft x2, 3ft x3 and a few smaller. So many people coming in and out of the hobby all the time, great for getting useful tanks, need to be patient when trying to track down display quality ones though. Love the videos and style, keep it up.
Sorry about that, I can only afford the cheap mics I have atm but I will try and fix it till I can get some decent ones. Thanks for your support it’s greatly appreciated ❤️🙏🙌🏻
Please help I have an established tank and now I’m getting brown algae on my beautiful big green leaves and it looks horrible, I think I should strip the tank and start again, what should I do.
Love your vid Adrian. Little question regarding pond fish since am new to trying tk research:) Im in Melbourne wbat fish your recommend down here ? Am looking at a 150 ltr pond maybe more ?
Awesome and welcome to the outdoors ! lol def Medaka Rice fish if your after small or white clouds and koi or gold fish if your after bigger. All will handle winters outside.❤️🙏
Yep, for sure, the boys, as they grow up, will have a much broader head and longer and more armored, and the girls will almost always be smaller, shorter in length, and have much fatter bellies. Another way to be pretty close to certain is to put in Less caves than known males as they will occupy them, and the females won’t. Keep pulling the boys out till the caves are abandoned. Have other large rocks or wood for the girls to go get cover.❤️🙏
My pleasure… and I’ve found when getting them to spawn, keep them HOT 🥵 then do a couple of 90% water changes and they will be very happy to breed I would think.
Your channel is going to be great. Question, what do you use for plant food when starting a new tank are you using compost and then a sand/gravel substrate? I am so jealous of your plant growth.
So nice of you and nope, to be honest I use playground sand and or aqua soil and rarely to I ever add sets to substrate. If I’m focussed and or remember lol I may add some liquid ferts once a month or twice if I remember.❤️🙏

Cool thanks for the info…. I LOVE these tetras. ❤️🙏🙌🏻👊
@@AdriansFishroom yeah. Almost everyday before the lights get turned on, the males are on their spawning color where they get black on the base of their dorsal and ventral fins and the whites intensify.
So cool huh 🙏❤️

@@AdriansFishroom that would be great!
if you want to get rid of the hair algae ostracod will get rid of it within a week. You doing great with your tanks and videos 👍
Thanks for the tip! I will check it out.❤️🙏🙌🏻
❤
🙏❤️👊
Try with some elodea or foxtail or if you can get it susswassertang… it requires no work and almost no light and the shrimp LOVE it
The guppies look amazing in your set up.
Any predator issues with those guppy ponds (if they’re outside), especially with snakes like the one you found?
@@MW-ut3dk no not that I have seen but they have heaps of cover
I think so too bro, and the camera doesn’t do them justice… not my iPhone10x lol 😂 thanks again mate… REALLY appreciate it, they are amazing.🤩 🙌🏻❤️🙏
@@AdriansFishroom you’re more than welcome to
👍
🙏❤️👊
Another great video mate well done. Are those just kmart tanks the fry growout ones you set up?
Yes they are… el cheapos (think $3each) ❤️🙏
@@AdriansFishroom $3? Aint nothing $3 these days hahah. All of my tanks are ones I got free, 6ft, 4ft x2, 3ft x3 and a few smaller. So many people coming in and out of the hobby all the time, great for getting useful tanks, need to be patient when trying to track down display quality ones though.
Love the videos and style, keep it up.
Great content, but I can't hear you for the music.
Thanks
Phil
Sorry about that, I can only afford the cheap mics I have atm but I will try and fix it till I can get some decent ones. Thanks for your support it’s greatly appreciated ❤️🙏🙌🏻
No worries, just keep up the great content.
Thanks.@@AdriansFishroom
Please help I have an established tank and now I’m getting brown algae on my beautiful big green leaves and it looks horrible, I think I should strip the tank and start again, what should I do.
It will settle down, algae is life and means your tank is healthy. Do some bi weekly water changes and maybe add in some algae eaters. 🙏❤
Love your vid Adrian.
Little question regarding pond fish since am new to trying tk research:)
Im in Melbourne wbat fish your recommend down here ? Am looking at a 150 ltr pond maybe more ?
Awesome and welcome to the outdoors ! lol def Medaka Rice fish if your after small or white clouds and koi or gold fish if your after bigger. All will handle winters outside.❤️🙏
@AdriansFishroom awesome thanks mate,
Funnily enough was actually thinking of rice fish:) will look into white clouds too
Legend !🙏❤️
I live in the United States. What’s a good food that’s close to (Bug Buffet)? I’ve been looking and can’t find anything
I’m not sure over there mate… Nick is planning on selling it in the US so maybe contact him and ask how to get it🙏❤️
Hi AB, whete do you get your brine shimp eggs from?
Nick gave me that container actually, otherwise I buy them from Ross on the GC or Mad aquariums in Brisi.❤
Hey man did u have any tips on sexing l397
Yep, for sure, the boys, as they grow up, will have a much broader head and longer and more armored, and the girls will almost always be smaller, shorter in length, and have much fatter bellies.
Another way to be pretty close to certain is to put in Less caves than known males as they will occupy them, and the females won’t. Keep pulling the boys out till the caves are abandoned.
Have other large rocks or wood for the girls to go get cover.❤️🙏
Thank u so much man I really appreciate it
My pleasure… and I’ve found when getting them to spawn, keep them HOT 🥵 then do a couple of 90% water changes and they will be very happy to breed I would think.
I love md to get back to me live him to do my 3 and ahalf foot live plants and caves
Very cool ! I like the idea of a cave scape too ❤
Your channel is going to be great.
