I recently took a hiatus when my youngest was born, but now that he’s old enough to express himself he’s really taken a liking to plants and fish. I plan on building us a fish room in the basement for us to enjoy together, and your channel has been a great inspiration. Thanks for all you do, and keep up the great work!

@@AdriansFishroom I’m intrigued at how your rock structures are so complex and vertical with nooks and crannies. I am in pre build of a 110 tall with rainbows plus other community tetras of some sort but would enjoy rocks but it’s intimidating with how they could collapse. I’ll figure something out. Already have HUGE piece of wood that towers from bottom to top. Have a good day..

I had no idea it got so cold where you are. I was always wondering this since Nicks tours since you have a lot going on outside, plus the aviaries etc. I am in the UK and rescue turtles and the weather is a huge factor. They get to spend 4 months or so of the summer outside soaking up that lovely UV but the rest of the year they’re in large indoor enclosures. Our weather is notoriously grey and cold!

We just got hit with a micro burst. It’s taken out our power and trashed most of the trees, my fencing and our cars windshield. I am so thankful no one got hurt but I can’t really do anything but try to keep my fish alive and cool. I really was appreciative of the 30 minute break to pay attention to something else for a while. Thank you for the great content, and Ziggy lol, you continue to create. Always education and entertaining. The tanks look like natures masterpieces.

Hello Mr. Adrian! all I want to tell you is that your puppy is adorable, I think she's a Jack Russel terrier if I'm not mistaken and the way she sits in your arms, please believe me, I have a Jack Russel terrier puppy for 11 years and in the morning and all the time I do most of the household chores with her in my arms, how do you hold your puppy in your arms. Thanks again for the awesome vid Adrian can't wait for the breeding results and especially the snail control vid bloody things seem to pop up in my breeding tanks all the time. I like keeping snails but bladder snails are as bad as the dreaded duckweed to get rid of.

That angelfish tank is super wonderful! How do you keep them from fighting?
They are only aggressive when breeding and never so much that they hurt each other usually. It’s a big tank so they just adapt.🙏❤️🦘🇦🇺🐶🙌🏻💪🏻

I love your multi colony. I got 6 fish from Elyza a couple of months ago and they are doing great but no breeding unfortunately. Is it true that they will breed when spring comes? Someone told me that. How would they know the seasons? Nothing changes in their tank.

Yeah they know due to slight temperature changes as well as day light hours being long and short… they are smarter than we realize.
Mostly breeding is once they feel safe and have food for their babies… feed than BBS and watch them go !!🙏🇦🇺❤️🦘🙌🏻🙏

Hey Mate! So now I want to give it a go at breeding Tetras! 🙂 I've got a question for you, Adrian: If I'm correct, you've got fish from Asia, South America, Africa and wherever else. Now theoretically, they all have different water parameter requirements. Do you concern yourself with that? Or are all of the fish really in the 'same' water? pH, hardness, etc.? Anyway, your tanks look fantastic. And as always, and to be honest, I spend most of the time looking at the setups and the plants. I do love your fish! But it's everything else that really draws my eye! Also, thanks for the look at the yard. It's been so f@#*ing hot here - well over 110F most of the time, and one day it was 121F, I'm not spending a hell of a lot of time outside these days. Oh well . . . Cheers, Mate, and be well! ~Ron

As always, thank you so much for your support mate. I do change up the water parameters for a lot of the fish, for example, my African tanks all run through the one sump which has a large amount of coral in it to buffer the water.
The eight footer and six tanks run through a soft water sump , and the Corys are all standalone with lower pH due to the leaves and biological scapes that I put in.
Having said all that I do not test the water hardly ever and all other tanks would be somewhere around neutral as that is what the water comes out of the tap at

Hi Adrian, I've watched your videos from the beginning. I also watch KFS. Question; What is the reason for not putting a pleco in the tank with the Cories? Is it because the Plecos will eat the eggs or are Cories not comfortable with Plecos? BTW love the "Ziggy" content... Gord from Canada.

Subwassertang moss at 15.28 and at 20.28 the top of tank has same moss and cryptocorne wendtii brown at the foreground near the bottom

Are you using Ro water or rainwater for breeding? I
No, not normally I will just use the standard water out of my filtered system and just reduce the temperature. If I were trying to breed something more difficult, I would consider using rainwater or RO water for sure.🦘🙏🐶❤️🇦🇺
