Hey teacher Karen I would like to share this situation with you I've done my proficiency test on native camp and I passed it .I didn't immediately move on to the system check because I had some wifi issues but it's all settled now. When I locked back to my native camp account after a few days I found that everything is already done and I'm at step 6 which is my teacher information idk what went wrong but I would like you to help me please
I know this is a little late, but I just wanted to thank you Teacha Karen for all of your helpful tips and information on native camp! I applied last Thursday morning (for walk-in application) and it was honestly a nerve-racking experience and my hands were shaking while typing so I really tried to regain my composure and pull myself up and just do my very best and utilize everything that I've learnt from your videos. Pasensya na ikaw na tinanong ko 😅

Believe it or not during my demo lesson, it took me 5 tries to finally get in. First, I wasn't able to talk to the admin because of my internet connection, second, the admin cannot hear me, third there it is a final demo but the admin said I should have a retake, forth it went well for the admin but another retake because from time to time my connection is not stable. By that I doubted that I could pass the demo. I ordered a LAN cable and waited a week for the product to arrive. Funny because I'm in doubt yet I kept on investing time for me to pass the demo HAHAHA. Finally my last and final demo, it happened yesterday with an admin who is very strict but an honest critique. After her evaluation, I can say that I really cant make it. Took a nap and once I open the site again it says PASS. I'm in awe and speechless after that. I believe I can powerfully attract what I want. Wish me luck!

I had Mariel in my retake, in the middle of it all I got disconnected. Idk what happened but when I went back I found I can still do my retake again. But why does this happen

Karen, this is a precaution. There is a risk the platform can monitor the class as well as your personal information. You have to make sure when you use this platform don't use it with your personal google account. Use a guest account in chrome or create an individual google account solely for this platform. Please help spread!
I keep watching this video over and over again. And it really helps me every day in my nc class. Thanks a lot Techa Karen!!! Can you make also a tutorial video on how to handle 5-minute discussion and free talk? Because I feel terrible sometimes, every time students chose this topic.
If you are unfortunate enough to be paired with the evaluator named "Francis" just end and leave the room because he is a hypocrite, perfectionist, and a very disrespectful one. He interrupts you in the middle of reading something all the time and finds every bit of mistake so you won't consume more of his time because he sounds like he is always in such a hurry. He literally does not let most of his applicants consume more than 5 mins of his time. Two options of lessons were given but he always chooses Grammar Middle 32, so what is the use of having 2 options when you only let all the applicants that go through you present that one. I hope he gets fired from his job because he is too full of himself.
I encountered the evaluator Francis for my interview today and we just consume not more than 5 mins and my lesson was Grammar Middle 32 then when I just commit a single mistake, that’s the end 😅
Francis is actually the most forgiving admin. For the first demo, if you were able to clearly answer his questions and were able to attend to him, did all the necessary actions (greetings, introduction, making sure he understands your explanation/answer, using the chatbox, right facial expression and *mood*) you will then pass the demo. Even if it lasted less than 5 minutes. IF EVER, you failed the 1st demo with him, he will give you tips and tell you why you failed, if you take his advices and apply it on your 2nd demo, he will then let you pass. Aside from that, if ever you failed again for the 2nd time, he will be honest with you and will tell you that the demo is being recorded that is why he needs to follow certain protocols. But he will give you hope that he will help you and will wait for your call, and that he will take your call for the demo. Just make sure that by the 3rd time you practiced the lesson. Because he really will take your call.

I had my demo this afternoon with Umi. I felt relaxed when she chose the material same as yours, and I was so prepared because I followed everything in this video. She also asked me how to use No way in a sentence, and I answered similarly with your answer. I was about to sent my answer in the chatbox but suddenly she stopped the demo and told me that I was prepared for the demo,used the chatbox and I familiarized the class flow but then I failed. I dont know why. She didn't even tell me my mistakes. And it was my first demo and she did not let me retake again, she told me I can re apply after 6mos.
This is unfortunate. I think it's a matter of luck at the same time a matter of how your evaluator perceived your and your potential. Did you know that other teachas are given not 1, not 2 but retakes? I just saw a post about it. :( I can't say if you evaluator IS the problem or something else...but I'm sorry this had to happen to you :(
Teachaaa! I passed my demo 😭 Your vlogs were a BIG help for me. You're right, the Learning Kit alone isn't enough. I just want to thank you so so muuuuch 🥺 I followed all your tips po and prepared to my heart's content. Now I'm studying for the Quiz na 🥰 Salamat po talaga! ❤️ And to add lang po, sa 1st demo ko kay Ms. Jez, she asked me what is natto, meaning of fermented, nutrients one can get from fermented food and examples. Sa 2nd demo ko po, Sir Francis asked me to explain why we should put '-ed' on the verb sa Would you mind 'if' pattern. Just wanted to share these para makapag-prepare din po 'yung iba. Hindi kasi talaga biro yung demo haha. And another tip, if gusto niyo po na matapos agad at di maghintay ng mahaba, be on standby by 9 am. That's what I did and I finished in 1 day. Yun lang po. @@yaneliswakhoza5901 Well, I took the test last week and the admin said I did well so I passed and she'll endorse my application to management. The website said I should wait for 48hours for the score to reflect so I waited. 48 hours elapsed and nothing. I emailed them this week only for the score to be updated to Failed, I should retry. Upon inquiring, I was told that the admins who act as examiners aren't the final say as to whether someone has passed or fail. I felt slightly agitated but I will retake. I'm not giving up

Teacha Karen, well done! Quick question. When you are speaking with a student, do you use American English pronunciation exclusively? I noticed that you go back and forth with the pronunciation of natto, sometimes with hard T (pinoy style) and sometimes with American 'D' sound: Naddo. (like wadder vs waTer). Thanks
@@rightcliquegod7653 Its horrible right now.. i received an email from them saying my skills were good enough and i could skip all the steps and they were going to activate my account ,which was great...but now they have asked for my passport..I am from South Africa and have never left so i dont have my passport and yet a close friend also applied and they didnt require hers.
@@DDFPret Sigh, that sucks sorry to hear that they're indeed horrible in a lot of ways just an hour or so ago I did my first ever demo but the teacher was rude, dismissive, and made me fail the whole thing to retry after 6 months although it's just my first atgempt lol

Hello Teacha Karen! I am now stabilizing myself at Native Camp and earning 5 stars. It was fun but scary. Because my classes are most likely sudden bookings and books are all sudden as well.
What's important is you always give then a 5-star experience regardless if it's booked or sudden. Don't forget that you can have a low star ratinf removed if you think it's invalid

Hi Karen. Your videos are very helpful indeed and I thank you for your time, especially for a very detailed information you are giving. My dilemma is as follows: After passing the Proficiency test I am unable to proceed further, namely, system check is not being carried out. For example, it is showing the number of persons waiting in the queue and just as it turns to number 1, literally underlined bold pop up message shows up ''reset browser'' and by doing so the process that preceded that stage repeats itself. I have done this several times since midnight till about 5am, and as a result of unsuccessful systematic check I was only able to log out of my account. I must emphasise that all previous stages have been completed successfully and without any issues but this stage is just not being followed through. I have tried this several times and in a fruitless effort to look up this "issue" I have come across your video clips. Thanking you once again and hopefully you may shed some light on this matter. Fingers crossed! The retakes are quite unpredictable. Sometimes applicants get 5 chances, sometimes they get none.

Karen, this is a precaution. There is a risk the platform can monitor the class as well as your personal information. You have to make sure when you use this platform don't use it with your personal google account. Use a guest account in chrome or create an individual google account solely for this platform. If you are unfortunate enough to be paired with the evaluator named "Francis" just end and leave the room because he is a hypocrite, perfectionist, and a very disrespectful one. He interrupts you in the middle of reading something all the time and finds every bit of mistake so you won't consume more of his time because he sounds like he is always in such a hurry. He literally does not let most of his applicants consume more than 5 mins of his time. Two options of lessons were given but he always chooses Grammar Middle 32, so what is the use of having 2 options when you only let all the applicants that go through you present that one. I hope he gets fired from his job because he is too full of himself.
Oh my goodness, this is a terrible experience. Thank you for sharing this. I hope you got to find a better company after having to experience this.
I encountered the evaluator Francis for my interview today and we just consume not more than 5 mins and my lesson was Grammar Middle 32 then when I just commit a single mistake, that’s the end 😅
Francis is actually the most forgiving admin. For the first demo, if you were able to clearly answer his questions and were able to attend to him, did all the necessary actions (greetings, introduction, making sure he understands your explanation/answer, using the chatbox, right facial expression and *mood*) you will then pass the demo. Even if it lasted less than 5 minutes.
IF EVER, you failed the 1st demo with him, he will give you tips and tell you why you failed, if you take his advices and apply it on your 2nd demo, he will then let you pass. Aside from that, if ever you failed again for the 2nd time, he will be honest with you and will tell you that the demo is being recorded that is why he needs to follow certain protocols. But he will give you hope that he will help you and will wait for your call, and that he will take your call for the demo. Just make sure that by the 3rd time you practiced the lesson. Because he really will take your call.

@@gerichlorrainecezar4296 yes. Esp, kung nagustuhan ka niya. With him if you are nervous he will sense it and will say that "I can see that you have potential, and that you were only a bit nervous. Dont worry, Practice again and retake your demo later. Ill wait for your call."

I had my demo this afternoon with Umi. I felt relaxed when she chose the material same as yours, and I was so prepared because I followed everything in this video. She also asked me how to use No way in a sentence, and I answered similarly with your answer. I was about to sent my answer in the chatbox but suddenly she stopped the demo and told me that I was prepared for the demo,used the chatbox and I familiarized the class flow but then I failed. I dont know why. She didn't even tell me my mistakes. And it was my first demo and she did not let me retake again, she told me I can re apply after 6mos.
This is unfortunate. I think it's a matter of luck at the same time a matter of how your evaluator perceived your and your potential. Did you know that other teachas are given not 1, not 2 but retakes? I just saw a post about it. :( I can't say if you evaluator IS the problem or something else...but I'm sorry this had to happen to you :(

And to add lang po, sa 1st demo ko kay Ms. Jez, she asked me what is natto, meaning of fermented, nutrients one can get from fermented food and examples.
Sa 2nd demo ko po, Sir Francis asked me to explain why we should put '-ed' on the verb sa Would you mind 'if' pattern.
Just wanted to share these para makapag-prepare din po 'yung iba. Hindi kasi talaga biro yung demo haha. And another tip, if gusto niyo po na matapos agad at di maghintay ng mahaba, be on standby by 9 am. That's what I did and I finished in 1 day.

@@yaneliswakhoza5901 Well, I took the test last week and the admin said I did well so I passed and she'll endorse my application to management. The website said I should wait for 48hours for the score to reflect so I waited. 48 hours elapsed and nothing. I emailed them this week only for the score to be updated to Failed, I should retry. Upon inquiring, I was told that the admins who act as examiners aren't the final say as to whether someone has passed or fail. I felt slightly agitated but I will retake. I'm not giving up
The heart rate just happened to me today 😂😂😂

Teacha Karen, well done! Quick question. When you are speaking with a student, do you use American English pronunciation exclusively? I noticed that you go back and forth with the pronunciation of natto, sometimes with hard T (pinoy style) and sometimes with American 'D' sound: Naddo. (like wadder vs waTer). Thanks

@@rightcliquegod7653 Its horrible right now.. i received an email from them saying my skills were good enough and i could skip all the steps and they were going to activate my account ,which was great...but now they have asked for my passport..I am from South Africa and have never left so i dont have my passport and yet a close friend also applied and they didnt require hers.

Hello Teacha Karen! I am now stabilizing myself at Native Camp and earning 5 stars. It was fun but scary. Because my classes are most likely sudden bookings and books are all sudden as well.
What's important is you always give then a 5-star experience regardless if it's booked or sudden. Don't forget that you can have a low star ratinf removed if you think it's invalid

Hi Karen. Your videos are very helpful indeed and I thank you for your time, especially for a very detailed information you are giving. My dilemma is as follows: After passing the Proficiency test I am unable to proceed further, namely, system check is not being carried out. For example, it is showing the number of persons waiting in the queue and just as it turns to number 1, literally underlined bold pop up message shows up ''reset browser'' and by doing so the process that preceded that stage repeats itself. I have done this several times since midnight till about 5am, and as a result of unsuccessful systematic check I was only able to log out of my account. I must emphasise that all previous stages have been completed successfully and without any issues but this stage is just not being followed through. I have tried this several times and in a fruitless effort to look up this "issue" I have come across your video clips. Thanking you once again and hopefully you may shed some light on this matter.
