My old teacher loved to play this. You remind me of him. I tried to learn it back then when I was a kid, but the techniques were too complicated and chords were really hard for me cause I had really small hands. Now that I'm an adult, I'm inspired to learn to play classical music again. Got 3/4 of this piece down but I'm so busy with work. Hopefully, I can finish it and play it up to speed soon. You play beautifully, full of emotion. Other people I see play this, don't have that emotion.
Thank you for your kind comments. Keep working on this piece and I'm sure that you'll be able to play it eventually and that it will give you many hours of pleasure. Remember slow practice and patience is the key to playing this and other pieces.
This piece is what got me into playing classical guitar, nice playing!
My interest in playing the classical guitar was Segovias recording of J.S.Bachs Chaconne in D minor Which I came across back in the mid 1960s.

Your touch is something else. Just getting into classical guitar from ragtime, and am really surprised by some of the resemblances.
Yes if your a fair ragtime /blues etc player you should have little trouble getting into classical guitar. Check out some of my tutorials.
