You amaze me, sir Simon, you're a Wizzard of guitar if ever there was one. This is a remarkable bit of work and extremely impressive indeed. You have my utmost respect.
This guitar has a fascinating sound and presented with musical competence and tact. The composition played 'talks to the listener' in a way that is honest and delightful.
Amazing. I've been learning a few Terrega pieces over the last few months. Added Gran Vals, Estudio de Velocidad and just got through your lessons on Caprice Arabe. I was 'patting myself on the back' for completing it and getting the techniques down. I thought; "now I have a nice, professional 5+ minute classical piece in my repertoire - going beside Cavatina). Then ..then, you unleash this 10 minute beast! :) So many techniques in one song. I'm guessing this will take a lot more than the month it took to get Caprice Arabe to the point I can play it (not to true performance level though). I'm guessing the lesson times for Gran Jota would be epic ;) fyi - I really liked the way you help to cross the bass strings (for the percussion section) by using the left hand. Would you believe I only had been shown this technique using the right hand to cross the strings (which meant I never got the right 'feel' for it in the past, and so avoided using it). Never thought to use the left hand to help the process. Such a simple thing but it makes all the difference. Thanks so much.
Hi Gran im Bahram Tavakoli from Tehran your playing guitar very well and and we thank you "There is song with playing Guitar of an Australian animation them song called flower story wich is beautiful but I can't find it on Google can you please show the accord or tablicher if you know the music Thank you ' just reminding you love is the best "
The drum effect as no real name I suppose you could call it Tamburo [ which means drum ]. The music just tells you how to create the effect by crossing the 6th string over the 5th sting at the 9th fret to give the sound of a snare drum.
@@boltonguitarstudio3115 Thank you for replying! I first heard the effect in Barrios' Diana Guarani and thought that another instrument (snare drum or something similar to the snare drum) was being used. However, I was surprised to find out yesterday that one can produce such sounds on guitar. Everyday I learn something new.
Suprisingly I first came across this effect when I attended a jazz guitar workshop back in the late 1960's when the great jazz guitarist Barney Kessell suddenly mid way through a solo started to play a rhythmic pattern with this technique, Oh!! and he also did a tap dance.🤣😂
Bolton Guitar at 4:56 in the video you are hitting the strings but do you have a specific technique too do that. Because I can't seem to make the (correct me if I'm wrong) cords ring out during that part it's been a pain trying to figure it out. If you have a any tips on how to do that part please reply.
For this section you use the side of the right hand thumb and strike the strings just in front of the bridge. Keep the wrist quite loose [ avoid tension ] the thumb should with practice bounce off the strings to produce the drumming effect.
hey sir! i would like to see a lesson from you teaching this piece. I already learned some parts of this composion too, but im still struggeling with that refrain and im thinking the reason is the timing of the notes. It dosent sounds like the original. Because of that i would like to have an tutorial. kind regards
Hello Ahmad - the problem is that it is such a long and complex piece that it would take so many lessons to complete - but I shall have a think on it so watch this space.
¿Cómo se llama el Mister? No está claro dónde dice su nombre, ¿o yo no sé leer?... Su interpretación es buena , aunque en partes parece muy mecánica. Muchas gracias.

What is the title of the music?
Great interpretation, one of the greatest Tarrega piece. What is the technique at 8:57 called?
