      Ben wasn´t bad either, he alone could understand that one difficult question (probably mostly due to accustics), by blocking out visual destractions and filtering out grammar that was a bit uncorrect. And he has a good way of nailing the answers🙂!

    If we are smart enough to build a real working stargate - funding another movie is easy. It's a piece a cake.
    After reading "A brief History of Time" I have wondered - What If? The away station on the Moon is for sure going to happen soon.
    I have always been a fan of "Stargate". I don't know who the science advisor was but it turns out. It may actually be possible. Given our funding and better understanding is progressing faster and faster. Physicists now have access to custom AI for mapping regions of space time.
    It's only a matter of time before we figure this out.
    By the way I love the cast I are amazing. Best wishes and my the see actual the working star gate.

    AWESOME!.......Love them all....... I just found this video on TH-cam. We are currently watching the Stargate series along with all the movies and Stargate Atlantis/Universe and all of that. I'm actually on S8 of SG1...... and of course, once you get to that point you should start watching Stargate Atlantis......... this is a great series. I cannot believe That it has now been almost 20 years ago that it ended.
    I think it's really cool to see that in real life they have the same mannerisms that their character had. That's really cool. For example, Michael Shanks actually does talk rather fast like his character, Daniel did.

    They all look amazingly good after all these years. I would propose to produce a brand new movie based on SG-1 & Atlantis, combining them both into a brand new story in which a new enemy appears (or maybe one of those old ones?) who has managed to scramble time and space and have both crews try to solve the case with perhaps the aid of yet another alien race that has the necessary technology to revert the process and bring both crews back to their own normal timeline. This said, not without problems arising, such as being instead transported back where all began (with the original movie), but discovering a way out by finding an alien artifact left behind by Ra before he fled only to disintegrate in space. They would only return to their friendly alien ally, who in turn has managed to fix the device that rearranges the timelines. While this happens, their common enemy finds them and tries to stop them and a huge battle ensues, in which both crews have to fight for their lives in order to defeat the threat of being stranded forever on an alien world. In the end, and with the help of an old friend of theirs who has deployed a huge battleship force to come and turn the tide in their favor, they once again find themselves back where they belong but without, seemingly, any memory of they just went through. The only amazing thing though, is that they all - both SG-1 and Atlantis members - find a tiny strange badge attached to their uniforms. Is it a memento to something or somewhere they had been? All they can do is wonder, although Daniel Jackson and Teal'c in their own timeline seek to find out and discover that they were absent for many years, despite having the incident only lasted a few days for them, at least according to the station log. The mystery remains, and although puzzled, they decide to dismiss the affair, since apparently nothing on Earth has indeed changed, except them. At the end we see in split screen the two crews going back to their daily normal private lives, since both crews are not on active duty anymore.
    This is what I have imagined as being a possible plot that could be a great final sendoff for both cast members, and of course, a great surprise on the big screen for fans of the series.

    What makes me mad is that WE ALL WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN TOGETHER ON TV but every single time actors are asked the question ''is a reboot in the making or something?'' they never know because it's a question of studios / tv rights and so on. Why streaming platforms don't make these shows happen??? They know millions of people would watch these shows so if it's ''just'' a money question then it's just a bummer coz this reboot would make a lot of of money back for sure.

      I still don't understand some of the questions. Don't be too hard on them...or the questioners who weren't native English speakers. The convention organizers should have set things up so they could ask in German and have a translator - I felt bad for the attendees asking their questions and not being clearly understood!

      @@tvstation8102 Not my intention at all. I've met Richard, Michael, Amanda and Joe so they are lovely people and completely understand a lot of the askers were using a second language so commend them for getting up nonetheless.

    • @JSMCPN
      @JSMCPN 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      It wasn't a language barrier. Some of the questions were just really wacky, like the one about Mac being vegan. Firstly, MacGyver isn't a real person, and second, the character wasn't vegetarian. It's really hard to answer a question when it's so abstract, and assumes the person being asked remembers one tiny unimportant detail of one 40-year old TV episode. If I went to one of these conventions, I would ask the stars about themselves and their experiences, not what their character would be like if they were vegan today instead of vegetarian 40 years ago. It's not a question worth understanding let alone attempting to answer. What would Captain Picard eat for lunch today if he was Canadian instead of Spanish? Nobody cares, especially not Patrick Stewart, whose character was neither Canadian nor Spanish in the first place.

    • @hundetuem
      @hundetuem 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The acustics were tricky, that was the problem for the most part, I think. And some of the attendees admittedly had hangovers ... were not native speakers etc. But I think it went quite well!

    • @hundetuem
      @hundetuem 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JSMCPN McGyver was vegetarian in the later seasons. And some of the attendees had a hangover, some expressively admitted it. But sometimes it was just the acustics onstage, they were not ideal. This is just something that can happen on live events. I agree that the question about the vegane thing was a bit off, but I´ve heard much worse questions on panels, and I´d rather have a question like that than those questions that have been asked a hundred times before. I also think the attendee was a bit teasing, so you shouldn´t take it too seriously. (I queued right behind her btw., don´t know her, but I think she might have been teasing.) The question and the answer didn´t take much time, so no harm done.

  • @koldoriobarbosa4703

      RDA had several surgeries a few years ago (including having both of his knees replaced, among other things). Those surgeries and the medications had a lot (if not all) to do with his weight gain. I'm not saying there wasn't other stuff too, it's not like I know him or his personal business, but the surgeries and the weight gain he had because of them is what he's talked about publicly.

    I am finding it wonderful that we, who could not be there in a person (almost the whole world...), could participate in this meeting at least this way. To meet this fabulous group of people is a true delight.
    Their interactions are giving a lot of funny moments to all who also became a part of this family...
    The next what we should be talking about is that we would want and need to have you back...
    Sadly a lot of time has been wasted (by the powers of greed and politics...) but nevertheless we need to get this ball rolling again ASAP. The burden is now also on writers who have to adjust the time passing in so intelligent way as not to harm the whole story line. Easier said than done...
    In other words we want you back in our lives in more than just re-runs...
    Today we were told that UFOs are true... I suggest that the real stargate is placed in the studio, and now we are talking real $#!T! LOL How about that. Just make sure we bring Atlantis way closer, away from Pegasus and Wraiths so we can all walk our dogs after the movie LOL. No, really... you ALL have made a great series that was with us for many years, and we miss it, we miss YOU! Thanks.

      It's Hollywood group think. These actors are just modern day court jesters, but that all changed when society started worshipping the ground they walk on. Now because of that, they inevitably think they are the best of us and that they know everything. They are never challenged on anything they believe because everyone they surround themselves with subscribes to the same ideology. If you don't subscribe to their ideology, you don't get work. And without work, you don't last long in the industry. So at the end of the day, it's just giant echo chamber.
      Social media is what really drove the nail in the coffin. When I as growing up, things like X (Twitter), Instagram, etc...didn't exist. Actors did their job and that was that. Now, they all have platforms to open their mouths whenever they want, and they take full advantage of it. But because they exist in a bubble, they have no clue that half (or more) of the people they are preaching to, not only don't share in their beliefs, but don't care to. They can't understand that. That's essentially what TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is. It's a mental disorder that developed in these leftists when their ideological narrative was shattered. It's also why every leftist controlled institution (Education, Mainstream Media, Big Tech, etc...) alongside Hollywood, has spent every waking hour for the last seven years shoving their ideology down everyone's throats. They refuse to live in a world where people don't believe as they do, and they will do everything and anything in their power to make that happen.
