I am keeping an open mind here. Is that rock creek stained and not painted? It looks natural to me and pareidolia makes these features appear. I see natural water erosion
What we look at as natural was never natural at all, but was created by people long ago. It’s always been here, and so we assigned geological explanations… Which, of course, fall short of explaining why every single stone is carry sized. These stones are from all over the country, Each of them polished and carry-able, carved and painted into not just a couple images-but several on one stone. Migratory people could not carry around 15 different statues to represent their history, so they found a way to put 15 different images on one stone. Overtime the art evolved into more complex representations of animals, people, and anamorphic characters. The stones have always been a part of the natural environment for us, so they do look natural!
