Faces in the Stone
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 ก.ค. 2013
Our purpose is to regain lost knowledge and the vision for detail required to see the art of prehistoric humans.
We are United in an effort to stop destroying our history and sites of the ancestors so our children and other families can learn from them as we have.
Knowing the history of the land we shepherd will encourage us to do a better job of taking care of it.
They were masters of themselves and disciplined-not savages.
Unrecognizable at first this ancient art style is multi faceted and complex with patterns and puzzles.
We would have never expected that the first people created incredible multi faceted art immortalizing family members, children, leaders and even animals in stone.
Our best traits come from the people before us. That’s why we are here today.
Join us in advocating for these sites and honoring the lives that made these Mounds and Art.

I like this video!
Haven’t seen you in a while, hope all is well! 🙂
Appreciate that, yeah, it’s been a great break. (the problem is people can’t quit being crappy. And it’s nice to not have comments that are just really nasty being fed to me daily 🤮)
@ it’s all good brother, we are ones that see, the ones that don’t are trapped in a box! We are many, and are growing! That is the beauty of it! Creative minds, is as natural as you can get, the people that are plagued by programming are merely sheep of a system that is a one way track, that can’t process what’s actually in front of them! No one told us or taught us this, which is unique in human nature, compared to the ones that are quick to talk and not think, other than speaking of what they are told. They don’t really know cause it’s impossible to think for themselves! Most of it is lack of patience, people like to live in the fast lane of life, and don’t find their purpose! But are quick to soak up some of the dumbest things that’s out there! Like this platform I have seen ridiculous amounts of garbage content, that has no meaning whatsoever, but our content shows of how ancients made art, tools, weapons, etc. and that is more worthy my friend!
That is beautiful
Please contact me sir, please
My email is in the channel description!!
If you’re ever in Northwest Ga. I have an entire 8 acres filled.
I’d come park my bus out there for a few days!
Yes, they made awesome rounded razorblades incredibly thin and out of hard stones like Granite as well ! Very nice example 👍
IM HOOKED NOW. I CANT STOP FINDING THEM. I TS ALMOST LIKE IM FINDING WHAT IVE MISSED PLACED. THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
I know you’re excited, but please take your caps OFF! ❤️🙏👍
Nice little sliver! Thanks for showing that piece with the cutting, I have some very similar. Those slivers I would find in the field, they are razor sharp!
Lol funny its been 6 months and almost no one recognizes or sees 😅 thankbyiu
You’re welcome. Not a lot of other people will be able to see it, it takes a long time to study. For some people it comes through throughout right away, but for many it does not so don’t be surprised when they can’t see it. ❤️ Good luck 🍀 🤗👍
@FacesintheStone shocking how many people, have no interests. Reached out to some Lenape in Oklahoma a.d Kansas, email a trib in Delaware, no real reaction also Pennsylvania museum of natural history, Franklin Institute, temple or Drexel university lol it calms me just the vindication of theories if what my eyes and heart tell me , thanks again i feel I have more direction since finding your work. I'm in Philadelphia, near the Delaware, that and I'm sure they built the church on sacred land ,whos ? I'm still and will keep looking As for the Archdiocese, current land owner, not a word, lol no surprise 🧡❤🧡💛💚💙💜✌
@donnamariefarrell533 I encourage you to travel a little bit and look at the stones and other areas. The quicker that you understand that this part is everywhere, the easier and the faster you will learn what they are teaching.
Ive gatgered hundreds of effigy stones around my home , in and around church property, and my home ,previously a convent ,but no longer church property. So far almost no digging lol ,on the surface, unbelievable no one has noticed these , thank you for all you do and keep on seeking brother
Thanks for that
That's a flake. That's not an arrowhead.
I didn’t hear him call it an arrowhead. Thanks for sharing FitS.
everything is an opinion. there are very few certainties. i didn't get a feeling one way or the other. it seems too thin to be used for a tool and nothing apparent as art work. maybe just a natural weathered flake.
Regardless what it's purpose was, it contains the art, so it was sacred to them and more than debitage
The old title said how thin Paleo points are. This is probably a piece of one either that or they were just showing off and I think it’s probably the latter
See the full video in the bottom, right hand corner.
Incredible, that's so thin, definitely masters!
Big thanks 🙏
Wow! You are you in NC? I’m in SC! Cool 😎 Beautiful stone. I see faces in rocks a lot! Glad to see I’m not the only one who sees the energy & personalities of stones! The stories they could tell…
These are actually artifacts from a ceremonial site, filled with people who saw lots of different stuff and carved it out of stone. It’s all man-made, it looks natural because they were natural human beings. Not really separated from nature like we are today.
Wow. Some of those I wouldn’t have recognized fast enough to pick up. But I’m getting better. I’m surprised by how many mammoth effigies I find. Also, I find lots of “micro” effigies about the size of a penny. Find these in Northern Arkansas. You have a wonderful collection. The initial recognition of the animal from a rock is pretty cool.
@@brucedawson6991 thank you for your comment. I really enjoy sharing this and the more I do it the better I get at learning the history. Who knew? It’s been right in front of our faces the entire time! Thanks again.
I LOVE the swan stone!!! 🦢
Awesome I’m glad you enjoyed. 🤗
That's a sweet one man! Love the bird, I see a mammoth fighting through a winter storm, that's the energy I seen, weird! I was out last night trick or treating with the wife and kids and checking out everyone's boulders in their yards, seeing so many faces!
Beautiful stuff, man. Check out the big boulders, not just a few of them but every single one
nice rock
It’s more than a rock. it was manipulated by man to create family members, leaders, stone was a media to record history
@@FacesintheStoneit kinda looks like elvis
Nice finds
Appreciate you checking it out. All found from a gigantic mound site that you would see on National Geographic, the Ohio River Valley is what we are thinking. Not a lot is known about the history of the tribes on the East Coast, they don’t even get federal recognition because they may treaties with the English before the American conquered. We’re still covering up a genocide, which I think is ridiculous at this point in time. Everybody can see the art except for politicians and land developers. if anyone is really wanting to make a difference in this hold your elected, governmental officials accountable, it’s not their fault that it’s here, but it’s definitely here and we should recognize it
Horus watching the sky.
@SRLGemstone if you go way back in the early videos, I have a huge pottery Horus totem. Why the heck…Egyptian artifacts in North Carolina!?!? - I said at the time- Then I joined the tribe and I’m all good now.
@@FacesintheStone Ancient structures in many parts of the world resemble each other. After all, we are all human beings, and although we may seem geographically and culturally separated from each other, recognizing that we are all one makes it easier to understand things. Graham Hancock has a good documentary and books on this subject. Although they are not scientifically proven, they are thought provoking.
I never knew about him before I started doing this. But I do believe that there was a civilization that had the same common beliefs, they were a natural human beings like the Druids, so not separate from what they did looks natural.
very excellent ❤❤
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
This very old rock site is formed by a natural process, this is extraordinary 👍❤️
It was formed by natural processes and then manipulated by the ancient local indigenous people who still live in the area today.
Nice Share Bro Thanks👌🏻
My pleasure
Very cool!
That’s super cool, Face!
Thanks for that!
Very nice Megalith Rock Art ! Awesome birds , faces and a mammoth 🦣 !
@@AncintArt2ndColony I have a question for you. Do you think that it’s peculiar that every single animal knows what an eye looks like. Like a dog will look you in the eye, a bird will look you in the eyes. Every animal knows about eyes and knows where to find them. Is that something that should be studied or talked about or is it just common sense?
@FacesintheStone good question, it can go in few directions like a bird can look you in the eye from far away some more so than others . You wouldn't even be able to see their eye at great distances for one example . Some animals that live deep under the ocean and underground I would think eye contact would be rare and they would rely on other senses . And other things like bugs for example, you're not typically looking at their eyes even though they might be looking at you , similar to the birds . Overall I do think there is something very significant about eye contact in the animal kingdom ! Eye contact can have profound lasting impacts on the human psych and different animals as well , the majority of them , there's always exceptions and alternatives like above . This may be a big part of how eyes are depicted in art ! The Ancient Egyptians depicted the eye looking at you and body position is more prominent for the upper class and royalty ! Commoners are depicted more plain but are more like the natural body . 👁️ In some of the rock art we find there are many eyes and they do different things or are depicted in different ways . Face stacks with multiple eyes could mean a few things . A family totem or physical and spiritual or other levels . Some run horizontal . I think this is a question with many answers and many more questions ⁉️
@AncintArt2ndColony you nailed it, man! Opened up a few doors and avenues for me to look through. I knew when I asked you that I would not be disappointed! Much much more than I expected, and that’s a good thing! Thank you so much man, it’s really been on my mind
@@FacesintheStone and of course the minds eye ! The 3rd eye ! 👁️ Thanks for reminding me ! Glad I could help , it was definitely fun to think about ! Thanks for the awesome question !
Nice video Don, interesting that a Park recognizes these rocks, Ive never seen anything like it other than at an isolated spot… do they recognize the profiles on them?
This is largely unknown about. They see all the rocks they find that they are curious but they don’t know what they are yet.
@ Amazing… right in front of them
Lol someone once told me my rocks are boring 😂. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.😊
Nice vid man ✊👍👍👍

Really fascinating honey hole you found there. Thanks for sharing
It’s a ceremonial site where they built the creeks and built the villages on top of mounds, this area of North Carolina is covered in these sites.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊

Thank you, Johanna.
This is gold, wow.
@@AFaceInTime thanks my man. I love your work, keep spreading your knowledge.!
Pareidolia
I’m gonna have to correct you. Pareidolia is when you see faces in oatmeal or clouds. It’s not when you see birds carved from rocks. don’t come here and try to dismiss my research without doing your own. You will be banned.
i have very many of these stones from 3 digs at home in miami river valley, ohio river valley where we had adena and hopewell, shawnee, hope, and many other peoples combined into what became the ohio nation and ohio woodland peoples. I have been seeing etchings, paint, colors and so many of these animal effigy symbols as well as writing etc.... interested in helping me understand with a few photos> my wife Ashley is the collector/digger and sight, I think its her native roots.... watch for pictures from her maybe you can help us see more and find out where to officiate these things!
@@joshuahorn4795 glad you found us! Welcome to the community

Thats cool Don, looks just like a spot here in N E Ohio…
@@MarkPreman it’s so obvious to the people who study it, but just a few years ago I was completely oblivious to it. I love how obvious and oblivious are almost spelled the same way.
@@FacesintheStone Yes that is peculiar. I just found a little baggie of some old flints I had, one was a little bird, which I always thought was peculiar, and a face on a nice archaic point.
That first face is neat Don, it almost looks like a lions nose and mane, then you turn just a bit and the face with a headdress pops out. Its “loaded” just like the smaller specimens. Funny, my friend and I have also referred to the “cartoon characters”… those characters actually carved into the stone are pretty rare I would think, I havent seen any around here… Ill keep an eye out, I need to get back to that spot and stomp around a bit! I wasnt looking at them in the light that you are exposing them with. Thanks man
