Great video! Amen on how our faith is a gift from God, that He uses trials to increase our faith, and that He is the One who overcomes! I went through an intense trial that lasted about 3 years because I had white knuckles and wouldnt let go of something. At the end of my strength, I gave it up to the Lord and He made all of that go away on His own! I learned to trust and rest in Him, no matter what comes.

My friend, although you are suffering much, it sounds like you are headed in the right direction. Your confession of Jesus being your everything and how you do not want to care anymore due to the heavy burden is a perfect scenario for total surrender. Therefore, humble yourself before the Lord admitting you cannot go on, and cast all your anxieties on to Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:6-7). Leave all your burdens with Him for Him to carry and resolve, and do not pick them up again. He doesn’t need your help. Just rest as a sheep does with the Shepherd. Then you shall see the mighty hand of the Lord lift you up in due time; guaranteed. Hang in there dear friend. I know the suffering seems unbearable at times, but the Lord knows and He will never leave you. He will rescue you as long as you trust in Him. So, lift your head up and take courage in the Lord. Hi John, if you are a child of God, it sounds like you need to come to complete surrender before the Lord and patiently wait on Him. There is a purpose for your suffering, and you must accept what is happening to you as the Lord’s sanctifying work. If you haven’t already, I encourage you watch a video I made on total surrender and overcoming anxiety. If you have already, you simply need to be still and keep your eyes on His promises knowing He is sovereign and loves you. He will take you out of your afflictions in His perfect timing.

I have been truly blessed by your videos, Aaron. You have comforted me and given me hope in some of my darkest times. This particular one is especially enlightening and hopeful. I don't think in all my 70 years I have heard this concept explained this way. I have read Pilgrim's Progress, but I feel led to read it again after this. I have sometimes felt annoyed by people who say "God won't give you more than you can handle," no matter how well meaning they are because I know we need His strength. It's not helpful when they say that and feels as though they are diminishing our pain and trial. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video and for all you do to comfort hurting people by bringing them the Word of God. God bless you.

I enjoyed this video so much! It is so encouraging that God meets us where we're at, and how the trials correspond to our faith. As I've heard before "God gives His strongest battles to His toughest warriors." It's encouraging to know that this will only increase our faith. This goes back to Romans 8:28. God is working all things for our good. Even when we go through struggles, may we rely on Him to get us through and lead us stronger on the other side! God bless brother in Christ 😊
Aaron. Thank you so much for this video. It's good to know that his delivering power isn't contingent on perfect faith but results in our faith beinf perfected! I always thought my faith wasn't enough and was afraid that he wouldn't heal me! Now, I wonder, is our deliverance contingent on our salvation? I think often times it is. But how could we make it through if we turned our backs on him??!! God forbid

Hi Aaron, I’ve been trying to catch up on most of your videos from the beginning and I just wanted to say thank you for the insight! I was in a similar situations about 2 years ago with panic and anxiety. I have general anxiety, but sometimes I feel “relapses” of my panic and I’m afraid I will go through the same darkness all over again, even though God has brought me out of that phase. I’m much better off now than I was before, but I don’t know what to do anymore when I suddenly panic! Any advice?
Hi Vanessa, I'm glad you are finding the videos helpful. You likely have panic occasionally because there is still something that needs to be addressed; our emotions can serve as a check engine light for us as a it does for a car. First, I would ask the Lord to reveal what your hang up is. The Holy Spirit is your Counselor, so it makes most sense to ask Him. Once you do that, realize you are experiencing these sufferings for your good. So, if another panic attack comes, dwell on the truth that God is indeed using the panic attack for your good. I know it's hard to imagine, but it is the truth and the truth will prevail. Next, I would study on the topic of spiritual warfare. I recommend you watch sermons on youtube dealing with spiritual warfare from pastors like Charles Spurgeon, Martin Llyod Jones, Neil Anderson, and Jim Logan. Also, I recommend you read the book or listen to, Battle of the Mind, by Bill Loveless. It is free on his website: www.christislifeministries.com/Audio-Video.html. I know it's a lot of work, but it was extremely helpful for me in my time of recovery. God bless you!
Another great video, Aaron. I've been doing well with my sexual purity but I just feel Ike I've been burdened with a heavy dose of confusion these past couple of days. There's this TV showI really like watching and a few weeks ago I had this really strong feeling that I shouldn't watch the show. There's nothing sexual in it but they do swear a bit even tho I doesn't cause me to stumble. Idk man it's just really been confusing me because I really don't want to give it up if I don't have to but at the same time I want to obey God. The problem is that I just don't know if this IS God or if it's all just in my head and I've been really frustrated with Him because I've been asking him like crazy to just show me the truth but he hasn't come in and just made the truth known.
Bible teaches us to live by the spirit not by what our flesh wants, instead of watching pointless shows you can watch sermons that will lift up your spirit, I would watch something that's not needed for my spirit I wouldn't feel good after it, and I think it's the spirit that's telling us that we should do that, go on TH-cam and watch Rick Warren he has so many wonderful sermons you will like him, may God bless you!!!
Brother Ayo, I cant say with certainty, but that strong feeling you are getting to not watch the show may be from the Holy Spirit. As you get closer to the Lord, you become more sensitive to the things that bring joy to the Holy Spirit and things that grieve the Him. But, you also need to be on guard against legalism, which can really hurt you and those around you. A general standard I try to follow is question the things I do. For your tv show, ask yourself: 1) what good could come from this? 2) what bad could come from this? Then it should be more clear on whether you should continue or not. Also, there are many things the devil uses to attack us besides sexual sin, like violence, sense of revenge, pride, profanities, etc. these things all work to drag us further away from the Lord. If you feel confused about whether or not you should watch something, it's wise not to. You have nothing to lose by not watching a television show. You have much to lose if you continue to watch something that you shouldn't. Very few television shows are fit for Christians.
