- Yulia Lipnitskaya performs in Figure Skating Gala Exhibition at the Iceberg Skating Palace in Sochi 2014
Lipnitskaya is the youngest Russian athlete to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympics.
Within the ladies' singles category, she is the youngest gold medalist at the European Championships. She is also the youngest women figure skater to win a gold medal at the Olympics under modern rules
She was part of the Russian team to win the 2014 Winter Olympics team trophy.
Lipnitskaya is the 2014 World silver medalist, the 2014 European champion,
the 2013-14 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and a two-time Russian national silver medalist (2012 & 2014). Competing as a junior, Lipnitskaya won the 2012 World Junior Championships, 2011-12 JGP Final, and 2012 Russian Junior Championships. She retired from the professional sport on 9 September 2017 due to complications with ligaments of the legs and hip joints, as well as anorexia

Lmfao the fact that Adelina received 74.41 in PCS for her Sochi FS is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen (like at the Olympics? Really?)
The only reason adelina beat yulia is because she fell, so the judges did everything they could to get adelina to win because if yulia won, they would be suspicious
She is so amazing!! Her programs are always so full of artistry and grace!
Her ending is beautiful. I always come back to watch this skate again and again

Yeah, but she was always so serius, as she don't love what she made...I think that if she wasn't return to competizion is beacause she's nore happy as she's now
The younger generation can land all the quads and get the points but Yulia's artistry will always put her above everyone that came after.

Безумие какое-то... Просто невозможно красиво и завораживающе. Это не только техника, это что-то в человеке самом. Заложенная природой чарующая женственность! Ну нет этого не у Медведевой, ни у Загитовой - несмотря на огромное к ним уважение и благодарность за Олимпиаду. Я, человек уже среднего возраста, каждый просмотр Юлиного катания просто влюбляюсь в это Чудо на льду, в это глубинное, первородное, хоть и такое юное, олицетворение Женщины!

Алина как бревно..а Юля-уникальной одаренности фигуристка!! Таких вращений никто еще не делал, она невероятно гибкая, красивая девочка, а как она музыку чувствует..у большинства фигуристов музыка отдельно-танцы отдельно, а Юля -живет в танце, она неотделима от музыки и постановки, это дар..

Вот что бы так чистенько в личных не откататься? Медаль бы точно была (хотя, может, и не золотая). Ну да что теперь говорить. Зато у Юльки есть мощный стимул кататься и самосовершенствоваться, а мы будем смотреть и радоваться. И даже если не всегда будет получаться золото, всё равно Юля - это будет Юля, её будут помнить и любить. И ещё обязательно будет главный старт в жизни, и победа вопреки всему на свете. Как у Ягудина в 2002-м - на десятилетия. Чтобы люди смотрели и плакали...
