Being asked to judge this event was not the cake walk she expected it to be
She thought the event was going to be actual chefs, lol 😂 . Actually, maybe it was both Leslie and Rae? Leslie is just a uhhh much more Leslieee. She is great but as a wise man once said about her “diamond aim, iron brains”.

The fact that this chaos of a stream can be condensed into a 30minute master chef/British bake off styled show in less than two days is absolutely blowing my mind. Why major sponsors aren't reaching out to do ad spots in these videos is beyond me. QT needs a raise for her innovative content she's bringing to the streaming space. She is pushing boundaries and making other work harder to keep up.

@Corinne Slawienski they were but still think of the money network TV raises for shitty programming that seemingly no one watches. This has 150k eyes on each video for curated content her audience will like. As a marketer this seems like a no Brainer for me..

Nah the chaos is one of the few drawcards, for me at least.
Pair the actual bakers with the one’s who do not know a thing. Bakers as the coach, but can’t be hands on

Small thing but I love that QT handing the camera to Christine is cut out, and so one second QT is behind the camera saying "hands up," and in the next it pans over to QT sitting next to Rae and Leslie like she magically duplicated herself.
the quick cupcake making tutorial was so calming, then the competition starts which was....
I love their attempts at trying to read QT’s face to see if they’re on the right track or not. Especially Slime trying to catch her off-guard at 16:00 😂

Rae will probably never be a judge again after this, but I loved watching her so much. Watching her face throughout the video took me on a journey, you could see her die a little more inside with every new abomination put in front of her.
Pointcrow’s smile is so infectious and child-like! He looks so proud of himself as he was baking and tasting

This is so ridiculously good. Its amazing to me that these people probably knew they would be on this stream, likely weeks or months in advance. and they didnt seem to do a single second of prep or research on basic baking skills.
Most didn’t know I think or the exact premise? Thats what makes the content.
Well yeah of course they didn't. That's the whole point is that none of them know how to bake. Learning how to bake before the show would just undermine the entire point of it lmao

its honestly refreshing to see baking shows that have partial slapstick/silly folks and normal not-baker types compared to all the super series ones we see a lot.
This is either going to be qt and friends learning cooking and actually being good at it or is literally going to be them creating at least 5 new plaques. Good content either way so I am happy

Also, this may be a bit sad, but I am genuinely SOOOO fucking pumped that I just so happen to be off of work the next two days, thus I’ll get to watch the last to live streams as they happen!
Also, _also,_ lol, I just gotta say that QT’s selection of contestants was perfect! Not only are all 6 of them _hella_ entertaining, but they’re all taking the competition seriously and trying their best without overdoing it.
I didn't think Without A Recipe could get more chaotic, but here we are.
This is probably my favorite QT event so far! Killing it!
I love this so much that I've just rawdogged three full-length VODs of the competition in one night.
I hope that, if you decide to do another season, you do Master Baker: Academy - where no one is eliminated and the judges pick the winners at the end based on who improved/learned the most!

QT is such a masterclass in content creation, this whole thing was so well produced, I love the group of streamers, and she did such a great job at hosting (but also teaching me how to make a cupcake) is also loved Rae and Fus as the judges. Their deliberation felt like I was watching bake off, which was great. I love this!!
