Well, sadly, you're stuck with them for about 5 years and they're probably banking on losing some seats but hanging onto their majority. A presumption of being voted out in 10 or so years is built in. They know how the ratcheting effect works. Unfortunately, I think when their neoliberalism eventually fails to deliver, an angry UK public will vote in an even more far-right populist government.

Honestly I lived in Wales for 7 years, they do far more with far less funding. The main issue for Wales is the funding distribution method which has left cities + most of the valleys in degradation. Wales needs far more than what it is getting to stop the perpetual brain drain, no modern industries can survive without educated workforce, most people who get qualified in Wales leave for England or elsewhere. Wales has a bigger problem than just Labour in power, after being on both sides of the border it's quite obvious

Pretty sure that Parliament is very clear in documenting the rules, e.g. this is from the House of Commons Code of Conduct, Chapter 1, section 23:
"Category 3: Gifts, benefits and hospitality from UK sources
Under this category Members must register:
Any benefits which relate in any way to their membership of the House or political activities, if provided by a UK source either free or at concessionary rates, including:

@@charlesoba51I said, “Labour did not get a big mandate from the people,” as Thornberry said, “Labour got a big mandate,” which they didn’t. They may have got a mandate, but certainly wasn’t a big mandate with only 33.7% of the votes, from the public who voted. The only reason labour got into power, is because the electorate wanted Tories out, as I did, but I didn’t vote Labour.
