I'm using the same front wing that you are however I had to cut it down in my editing software to print it on my machine. Made a little bit more narrow. What type of filament are you using mine I believe is a bit too soft
Hey man, I just wanted to make sure my email made it through to you. I was going to see if you could send me the file for the wing (the version you improved/strengthen). I am in the process of repairing the old one you send me but I am not sure how many more times I will be able to fix it! 🤣 Also, do you think it would be an easy fix to make a version that is only 4.5 inches long (making the side fins stop at the 2nd diffuser on the back of the wing/making the wing about 60% the original size)? I can get it the original version printed and then cut it down and glue new side fins on it though so not a big deal if it isn't an easy adjustment. I found I can print them cheaply using CloudCraft (I just ordered new mounts to repair the one your originally sent me. Thanks!
You are an absolute maniac man!😂. The motor took it like a champ. Congratulations on reaching the 100 mph club!🎉 163F doesn’t seem outrageous Could I pay you to make me a new front spoiler for my car? The guy that made mine doesn’t have the stiffer plastic you are using. My email is in the about section of my channel. 👍
Thanks!! I feel like a cheated to get triple digits though. No doubt I could have broke 100 with the right gearing and a better 4s. I may still pursue that. As far as temp, I can prob gear up some more too, although I am running out of room fast, lol. Email inbound!!!
@@rjs907 I have no doubt you could have done it on 4s but it was still a great run! Heck, with the right gearing, you can probably hit 106 on 4s! Loving the series.... Got to get your some more subs! You deserve it. I will keep my eyes open for an email!

Hey!!! I use the RadioLink RC6GS v3. Very good radio, especially for speed runs. It can get out very far bone stock, receivers are pretty cheap too. R7FG receiver was in the bandit for this run, used both telemetry and gyro
@@rjs907 Thanks for the info! Does it beep at your when it goes out or range? I have a cheap transmitter I tested that does and I really like that feature (but the range on it is a little less than the stock Traxxas one).
@@BriansRCStuff I dont think I ever got to that point where it lost signal. The rc car was too small to tell what direction it was going at my speed run spot, and I know the rssi page would report signal strength changing as it got farther away. I easily went 1600 feet during testing measured with google earth.
With your added wings you just proved a million vids showing these RCs out of control at higher speeds unless you use weights and wheelie bars! You must have a wind tunnel and a team of aerodynamic engineers . . .
Ya, should go faster with a slightly bigger pinion. I have a spread sheet with all previous runs made. Trade off would be more distance needed to cover and motor would run hotter.
Amazing I’m on my way!
Good luck!!! Its way more rewarding learning how to take a slower rc car thats not designed for it, over 100mph!!
@@rjs907yes me and my lady was so excited when we seen your car flying!

congratulations on the 💯 mph club. i see you got a gas money shirt on. do you live around dallas. if so i could probably meet up with you one day.
Thanks!! Ya thats a great show!! I'm actually in NY though.

Nice run. Im looking to top that with my setup.
Great pass I’ve only gone 94 mph on a single 4 s stock trans and axels
Excellent video
Nice run🎉🎉🎉
Very nice run,,can't imagine, only got a little over 64 on the stock vxl with. Tall gear,,3s very disappointed
Until a little old lady I didn't see,ran I t over 😢

So you are running a 3s motor on 6s?
Yup, 3s is only what Traxxas is rating the motor for. Can handle more for short quick runs. I wouldn't bash it on 6s
@@rjs907 interesting
How are you making out? I can’t remember, what transmitter did you use?

@@rjs907 wow, that is incredible! I need one!!! The R7FG is the receiver that comes with it or is that an upgrade? Thanks again
@@BriansRCStuff I believe the rc6gs v3 transmitter I bought came with a r7fg and a r6fg receiver. Amazon has a few different combos listed.

Wouldn't a bigger pinion give you more top end speed not smaller?

Can't believe you're running 6s through that poor 3500kv Velineon motor. Doesn't that fk it up and get hot as hell??
