I like the name change! Good luck, stay safe, take it super easy until you both get your legs and lungs. Take advantage of that cool water in the river!!! Oh and almost forgot, be very careful with the lightning storms and getting caught up on the ridges.

I have been waiting for you to start your hike & postings. So different from the AT. Are there shelters on this trail? The high heat temperatures in Colorado can be so misleading because the air is so dry and you sweat less than like you might on the AT. Be carful. Enjoy and let’s get hiking. ❤😊
I followed you on the A.T. and was really impressed on how you handled the boring days. Hike on. You will find the C.T. is a whole different kind of trail. Have done about 250mi. Be safe!

Good to see you again, and so glad your mom is along for the ride(err, I mean the hike). But nearly a hundred degrees and a 30° shift in just a few minutes? A few years ago, we were in upstate New York, during the winter and the temperature shift, over 24 hours, was 60°, going from minus 24° to plus 44°. Be well, stay safe. 🥾

I did sections 1-6 in 2022. Camped at Bear Creek as well I on my first night. I flew in from Ohio and started the same day. My tent spot was on the left side above the trail. Enjoy!
Nice video. When you force the water through the filter it embeds the dirt into the filter making it difficult to clean. Your filter will last much longer if you use a gravity bag and back-flush when you're done. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick

Looking good. Hi guys I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak. Add this sound in your bucket list. Moses peak is situated in my home town Barah Valley Gilgit-Baltistan. Its open zone
