@Black Cash When you stand with your arms extended outwards horizontally. Usually used in video games as the raw models for characters are usually seen T posing so you can see every feature, but internet culture made it a meme and now people do it for comedic purposes

Something that's easy to miss in this movie is that Arkin actually recognises the killer from earlier in the movie - he's one of the exterminators from the beginning of the film. It's not obvious but it explains the killer's affinity with the spider, his love of traps, and his ability to access and rig the house in the first place.
They literally say that
At the end Arkin tells the cops it was the exterminator.

Chandeliers typically weigh 40-50 pounds and the one that fell on the collector had knives strapped on it. That chandelier should have killed the collector. But that plot armor was stronger.

He would survive with one condition: every knife and blunt force had to miss vital areas all along his body, and I mean it: arteries, veins, nerves, bones, organs, everything that normally makes the human body a clockwork. If that happens and the wounds were treated immediately, he'd have a chance of survival but the pain would be too unbearable even to lift an arm.
The plot armor is not just effective, it's a medical miracle.
Just think how proud that cat is of his acting skills, do not feel sad at the animal death, cheer the actor cat on in his movie debut acing his acting skills. You did so good little actor cat!

True, like some characters have a excuse like a regeneration ability but then some dont its odd, for me the part that confuses me is 1 the van wasn’t damaged and 2 do the screen writers even know how much a ambulance weighs? Those things are VERY heavy and the amount of energy needed to flip one would cause a hell of a lot of damage

The reason I love this more than any of the Saw moives is because the protagonist uses traps to fight back as well. Like- in the other movies it's a mystery and a bunch of people that try to play these games and get killed one by one. In this one the protagonist manages to outsmart the killer in his own game a few times, managing to get quite the number of good hits on him. Like a balanced battle between two fighters, but with traps and murder.
I'd actually like the writers of this film to do a Saw film really.

I actually quite liked this because of the non-traditional protagonist: a thief who isn't really involved that then has to choose if he's going to help or GTFO. The sequel was meh.

The sequel was just what I needed to not hate the ending of the first lol the ending ruined the whole movie for me but the second one definitely brought it around . The "zombie" thing was a bit much tho lol
Even if this movie ended with Arkin and Hannah getting away, the ending is beyond bleak.
He'd have to explain himself en route to the hospital and, more than likely, be unable to get the gem to the debtors in time to save his family, even if they were waiting on him there. Which, as we see, they're being held captive. Hannah is now orphaned, traumatized, and will likely be in fear of the man who saved her life. She'll have no direct family (that we see), no pets, no home, and, thanks to Arkin/the Collector, nothing to inherit. Arkin is likely scarred for life and permanently disfigured, not to mention the trauma he's also suffered.
No one really wins. They just survive.

Not just that they must to been so focused on fixing the house that they paid him no mind.
More than that, in just a few hours as we can tell by the fact the teens were on a night out.
I really enjoyed this movie. Arkin tried his hardest to save the family. It was like a really annoying escort mission where the npcs keep activating all the nearby traps and running into any danger they can find. The youngest daughter handled the situation better than the adults.That ending tho. He never got to go home to his own daughter T-T
I mean in the sequel he escapes after being captive for two weeks so he sees his daughter again

10 minutes into the video, round the time of where the serial killer is saving the spider. All I can think of is this really old story of a man who was evil and died, causing him to go to hell. But because the one good deed he did in life was save a spider, the spider weaves him a strong thread 🧵 so he can climb his way to heaven. But unfortunately he was mad about the other sinners trying to climb up along behind him and started kicking them back down, so Buddha cut the thread saying he was not worthy of being saved or something. So when I see the serial killer saving the spider, it makes me think that maybe deep down he just a little superstitious or something. Sorry for the rant 😅

I love this movie, the traps were neat and the killer was so cool, I really loved the glowy creepy eyes, I think they're a pretty unique trait! Also I like they chose not to show his face, adds up to it

Remember watching this movie when I Was 8 or 9 because my parents let me and my sister watch it but after watching it I was scared of stepping into every room and scared of everyone touching me in school.

A lot of the traps were pre-set before Arkin got into the house. the director has said that every trap in the house can be set up with a hour.

I think the most impossible thing to me in this whole movie was the Collector FLIPPING AN AMBULANCE! Those things are basically second to armored trucks in weight and strength on the road when it comes to four wheeled vehicles! No matter how hard you hit that thing you are NOT going to flip it, at best you’re going to do some damage to it, but flipping it? Nah.

I actually think this ending works. I haven't seen it but when I watched this movie I did think he's putting his own wife and daughter in massive danger to the loan sharks. It was a terrible choice either way.
