I hadn't heard this before--of course, I knew Elvis' rendition of it. Bobby is a very talented artist and gave Elvis a run for the money. And of course, both men were very attractive, yet different. I've been on a Bobby solo binge for a while and find listening to his varied songs are a great mood booster, especially during this pandemic. I highly recommend it. Cathy

His voice is fantastic, he sings from his heart but more importantly the respect he shows for Bill Hatfield is amazing, the two of them were great together.

A bit awkward for the rest of us...but he was a great Gentleman, and because I was "The Kid", he made sure I always got preferred seating when they were in Pa or NJ !! Bobby's voice is mellow and pure with minimal background support. Elvis had to have background singers and a strong orchestra to carry him through his songs when he did Vegas shows. Without that, Elvis would be just a good singer and not a exceptional. Hatfield could without a doubt hit all notes and could hold it much longer than Elvis.
To compare Bobby to Elvis is not right. Bobby sung his interpretation Elvis sung his. Two great singers with two great versions of the same song. Let's not knock any of the two, they were both great artists in their own right and I have enjoyed listening to both for the last sixty years.
