    Completely agree... situation in southern cities like chennai is much worst than northern cities. It's very risky to trust when you need reliable ride like catching flight or train..you never know if they cancel at last minute.

    Indian customers are smart and flexible. They don't fall prey to habits easily. So if they find ola is not as cheap as before, they look for other options like car pool, public transport even though its tiresome.

      Carpooling with whiteplate cars is illegal
      Indian customers are not smart they are cheap
      They don't need assured service with great troubleshooting at the fair asking price
      They need cheap things and when something fails they don't consider cost of troubleshooting they need solution for every problem at cheap prices
      So this is too good to be true
      When they buy apple phone they prefer to claim warranty and then brag about how they made company fool
      They order something from amazon Or flipkart then trick the customer service to get full refund and also keep the product with them
      So Indian consumers are cheap, fraud and someone who don't deserve customer service
      Let me know someone who get cheap services from jio and airtel,
      Have you ever talked with customer service on a phone call in last 4 years?
      Honestly I don't see the number for customer service now days for these telecom providers
      Reason as a customer you deserve cheap things isn't it?
      That's not a smart customegetsts

    Apart from the cancellation of the trip by driver, there is also another issue. In a number of OLA cabs AC does not work( in some cities like Kolkata) but the passengers are charged the same.

    They should not charge beyond 10% commission.. otherwise range should be 5-10%

      Its easy to say because you are not educated enough like most drivers. The company wouldn't survive with that rate.
      If it would have been possible another company would do it.

    I completely agree with you, as I have faced same situation in Delhi from last 1 year. When I booked my cab they call me for Payment mode, they ask what is your exact location which I never asked for before. Even they take more time to reach the pick up point which I cancelled myself and they also call me to cancel the ride at my end. During nights after 11 pm to 5 am there is no availability of cabs for which recently I almost miss my flight. I as a customer also see this is falling situation of OLA in India.

    Your assessment is certainly correct.In Bengaluru, atleast 3 out of 5 cancelled the trip.Plus Ola is charging 40-60 percent higher than the other cab provider charging.Thanks for giving a clear picture!

    Ola is always expensive as compared to UBER.

      Both are expensive, no drivers go at company rates because cars are their own. It's like auto rickshaw. Drivers are innocent, company and government are chutiya, so be careful don't blame driver. Talk politely with ola uber driver, they have got knife in their pocket.

    जी हाँ आपने बहुत अच्छा बताया है मै रायपुर में 🚖 cab driver हूँ बहुत बुरा हाल है driver का फस गए है हम लोग 200 रुपये भी घर ले जाना भारी है ऑटो और bike भी atach कर दिया इन्होने अब 🚘 वाले को बहुत दिक्कत है हमारे पास ओला के शिवाय कोई option नहीं है कोई दूसरा प्लेट फॉर्म अगर आता है और आयेगा ही तब ग्राहक और driver दोनों निजात पा सकते है ओला का मार्केट डूबा है समझ लो।

    The cancellation game is really problematic for customers as many times customers get trap while they have a patient with them who need urgent conveyance and the drivers keep fooling them by not reach on spot in time. Even they do not cancel their trip from their own and when we cancel it cost us money as well as time for again booking a new ride. Its really frustrating at that moment i know many of you guys can relate this situation.

    I directly approach cab or auto to reach destination. They ask more money than ola. I think ola is best solution. There are problems in every field but we have to make improvisation. In my view we should go with ola company rather than driver. Among 100 drivers only 20 % are good rest are chor

      ब्लेम करणेस पहले तू क्या बोल रहा हैं सोच ले, तेरे जैसेको 200 में राईड मिली तो तू खुश,किसीबडीन 300 कि राईड हुई तो ड्राइवर चोर, 80% में तेरा बाप तो नही ना, ये भी कॉन्फरमेशन कर ले. नाही तो तू भी चोर कि औलाद खलायेगा.

    Yes sir you're right .charges of ola have hiked too much as after year 2012.In starting ola charges were very reasonable. Hats on for your deep case study of olacab

    Bhai apne detail study kiya roj mora ki jindegi. 200% true analysis. I have faced many times. One experience I am sharing... one of my ride was so painful even there customer care don't bothered to resolve it after my repetitive followup. In that ride, Driver collected cash (100 rs less though but the travel distance was double instead of 15kms it was 28kms charged) from me and not clear the due in apps. Which is showing pending payments in my accounts. Whenever I have contacted their customer service team, they are giving simple excuse that the Partner channel informed them that the amount was not paid to the driver. That's insane situation and experience I have ever faced with Ola cabs.

    There is no luggage space in Ola cabs as their boot space is occupied by CNG kits!😊 They should stop their services at airport.

      According to RTO rules every taxi except two wheeler must have luggage 🧳 space for the traveler others wise not be granted taxi permission 👍

      रिक्शा का मीटर गिरा के देख कभी क्या भाडा होता है
      रिक्शा २ लाख की होती है उसका २२ रुपया किलोमीटर है
      Ac टैक्सी 15 रुपया हाथ मे आता है ड्राईवर ओनार के
      और चूतिये लोग गांडू की तरह जो नही घुसेगा इतना समान लेकर आते है उसका क्या?
      SUV बुक नही कर पाते hatch back बुक करके पूछते है carrier है? केरियर पे समान का पहाड़ बनाते है भाडा वही डिस्काउंट वाला देते है
      आपके वजह से ही आज कोई भी डिसेल् गाड़ी टैक्सी मे नही बची है
      एक काम करो अगले टाइम पोर्टर पे टेंपो बुलाना पीछे तिरपाल बिछा के सो कर जाना और समान भी ठूस देना

      @@kamsam6789 हा तो वो २ medium lugguage का स्पेस होता है sedan aur hatch back ke liye medium size lugguage se स्पेस check करके ही मॉडल निकलती है कंपनी
      मारुति टूर एस, टूर एच २ ये सब certified company मॉडल है इसमें आपके कहने से लौड़ा फरक होगा कंपनी और आर टी ओ से गाड़िया मान्यता प्राप्त होती है
      आप भी क्या बोल रहे हो konsa रूल है वो बताने से पहले रूल के हिसाब से AC टैक्सी का भाडा मालूम करना उतना भाडा driver को मिलता है क्या वो मालूम करना
      Air port पे सिटी टैक्सी मीटर पे मिलती नही है आपको उसका क्या तोड़ लिया आपने as a customer?
      आपको जब कूपन मिले तब आप ओला उबेर लेना शुरू किये
      जब कूपन बंद भाडा जादा हुआ तो आप बुकिंग बंद कर दिये
      क्या रूल्स की बाते बोल रहे हो आप

      @@ashwinkale473 simply RTO office is taking bribe from the CNG vahicle and without changing the ac, luggage 🧳 space and safety measures grants the permission of taxi,and later on every year permit to renewal,and insurance, fitness certificate,ect charge from taxi owner
      All are in form of nothing but corruption in legal manner 😀

    If Ola won't charge more than 15% commission, then it will be back on track. For profitability, they should expand it all over India including small towns.

      लेकिन ये बात आप फुर्सत मे अपने डेलि के फ्री इंटरनेट के मध्यम से बता रहे हो
      अगर कोई आपके पास पीटीशन लेकर आये और हस्ताक्षर मांगे स्पोर्ट मांगे तो आप मुकर जाओगे

    whatever you said is true, i have many times told by driver to cancel the trip and pay through phonepay and also driver agrees to pay cancellation charge, may be driver is saving 35% of fare which Ola charges them, but the reality is that when i ask the driver " why are you doing this?" They replies in the following manner :- 1. Have to return back empty if no booking he receives, 2. Petrol Price hike 3. Incentive is very less now a days from OLA side 4. AC is not allowed in Covid.......Also sometimes conflict arises between rider and Ola customer care for refund of cancellation charges.. But the ultimate goal of the rider is to reach the destination, so we ignore the above stuff. 😄 No other options when you are getting late for office, Flight, Train, Bus whatever.... UBER also do sometimes, but not often.

    भाई आप माने या न माने में भी ट्रांसपोर्ट से संबंध था ,पर सच है जो में लिख रहा हूं, अगर आप ola के मालिक के पास पहुंचा दे ,तो उनका भला हो होगा
    ट्रांसपोर्ट लाइन शनि की हे , अगर आपकी कुंडली में आपके फेवर में हे तो आपको आसमान में ला देगा वर्ना जमीन में पटक देगा।जो इनके साथ हो रहा हे,ये अगर अपनी कुंडली बहुत जानकार ज्योत्षी को दिखाना होगा। रहा दूसरा क्वेश्चन की ओला को लोकल ड्राइवर चलने ही नही देते ,और कैश पेमेंट भी सही हे, हां अब ये बड़े शहर में ही सफल हे। अगर ola इनको तुरंत पेमेंट कर दे तो ये अभी भी जंप कर लेगी पर अगर शनि इनके फेवर में हो तो।आप को छोटा सा example दूं, धीरू भाई के दो पुत्र, इक कहां और दूसरा की क्या हालत हो गई ,क्योंकि इनके गृह दशा बिजनेस के फेवर में नही ही।और सलीम ने कितनों को कहां पहुंचाया ,सलमान वहां हे पर और उनके भाई? अभी का केश udhav ठाकरे को इक ऑटो रिक्शा चालक से बने एमपी ने पटकनी दी,और ठाकरे जी कुछ नही कर पाए।जो की बालासाहिब के पुत्र?तो ये सब सोचना होता हे,जब मुझ पर गुजरी और इनके पास जाकर पता चला की आप के लिए तो ये शनि का (, ट्रांसपोर्ट लाइन) बिजनेस आपको जमीन में मिला देगा ,आप ये करें,और जब किया तो वहां टॉप पर हो गया ।धन्यवाद शुक्रिया जो आपने इसको पड़ा हो तो

    These companies should have charged as per Govt /RTO rules.
    Sometimes they give freebies and on demand charge like we have hired plane ..
    Such policy will not work.
    Even today , companies giving freebies won't work nor who charge hi rates as simple as that .
    It companies start up are and will be big failure
    .baiju, vedantu , cars 24 and many more will follow..

    You are right bro hamne car finance pe li hai but lagta hai uski emi ke bhi paise nahi nikal paunga.......ola uber 35 to 40 % charge kar rahi hai is samay lucknow me kisi kisi ride par to 45% bhi leleti hai

    Very simple..... yeh theek hai ki koi bhi company customers ke dum par hi chalti hai... but un customers ko jo services de rahe hai bho apna losses kyu kare.... yahi problem hai... BHAVESH ji se mai itni hi request karna chata hu ki agar OLA ko ache result chaiye to jo OLA ke DRIVERS PARTNER hai ( jaise ola kahti hai ) unke aur customers ke beech ka jo difference hai bho Kam Kar de.... sedhe sedhe Mera Matlab jo yeh jo rate decide kare usme customers aur DRIVERS dono ka profits agar Dhyan mai rakhe to jo ride cancelation hai bho Kam ho sakti hai...simple hai...ek customer se jyda profits earn karne ki jaghah profits ko Kam karke volumes ko badaya Jaye... profits to Utne hi honge.. aur badege bhi kyuki volumes increase ho jayege..... yeh competition ka time hai... Kal koi new company launch ho gayi jisne yeh formula apply Kar diya.. to really problems hogi... aur aisa hoga jarur...

    Absolutely true bhai....delhi ncr mei to ye hota hi hai..Driver calling and cancelling ride....ye to har booking mei mere saath hota hai.
    Moreover, ola walo ne email par issues/complaint accept karni band kar di hai. Ek auto generated email aata hai ki app se complaint raise karke instant solution le sakte hai. But jab maine app par complaint raise karne ki koshish ki to 'resource not available' ka error message screen par aata hai.

    Honesty, transparency, loyalty,hard work are not in Indians DNA.everyone(even companies) wants fortune, that too overnight.thats why most of entrepreneurs gets failed in short span and no credibility it enjoys like decades old companies do.

    In Delhi/NCR now there is strong alternate named as "Blu-smart" 100% electric cab service with excellent customer experience in terms of cab cleaness, driver behaviour, before time arrival at pickup point with comparatively low price. And they don't have cancel ride option on driver's app.

    Yes you have said rightly, I have face these problems with ola regularly, they cancelled the ride or ask payment in cash and booked the cab without ola apps. Ubar also doing the same problem or issues with customers.

      First of all commercial passanger carrier registration for bike ia not available in major cities and state
      So at many places that is illegal
      There are no rules for bike taxi

    Ola commission bahut jyada leta hai mumbai to pune rate hai 2700 rs aur usme drver ko milte hai 2000 car ki running hoti hai 180 km usme CNG ki cost 600 hoti hai aur agar customer ne agar digital payment kiya to wo paisa 2nd day raat 11 baje account aata hai
    Ab aap socho agar muze agle din car chalani hai toh mai gas kaha se dalu

    इसमे एक बात और जोड़ दे।
    70% गाड़ियों की ई एम आई समाप्त हो गई है उनमें से 50% ओला उबेर को टाटा बाय बाय कर दिया। नये ड्राइवर अब इनके साथ नही जोड़ रहे। आने वाले समय मस 25 से 30% और ड्राइवर हट जाएंगे।

    1- As a customer, many times we are forced to pay more money than it was displayed before booking.
    2- Drivers who were getting good incentive amount were later looted by Ola for getting lesser amount than actual fare
    3-Worst customer care, no tollfree or direct number for customer care.

    सर मैं एक कैब ड्राइवर हूं और मैं यह बताना चाहता हूं कि आने वाले सन 2026 तक ओला उबर खत्म हो जाएगी क्योंकि सन 2017 में करीब करीब 30 से 35 परसेंट गाड़ियां लगती थी सन 2022 में 5 से 3 परसेंट ही गाड़ियां लग रही हैं तो इसका मतलब 9 साल में ओला उबर की गाड़ियां खत्म होने की कगार पर आ जाएंगे

    I don't know how many of you are from Tamilnadu. There is Red Taxi in some cities of TN. I bet ola and uber are no where closer when it comes to offering Chauffeur driven cabs. You are guaranteed with a well behaved no no sense driver, cost effective and something reliable. Made in Coimbatore. We badly need Red taxi to expand to other cities and Indian state. I would like to share an example here: the customer support checks on you to see if the cab driver responded to your call and if not, you get another one immediately. No driver asks you your destination, estimated amount, doesn't deny / cancel.

    Ola and uber driver cancel the ride theycall seperately ask more mony to ride in blk other than uber app and they charge double or triple. Last 10 rides i hav never travelled by the app rather they offer ride at more costs and cancel the order.

    Ola company chalu hui Uber company ko dekh ke ola company chalu hui. Bhavesh Agarwal ne koi naya kaam nahi kiya hai iss ne business copy kiya. Aaj driver ki halat karaab kar ke ola electric bike bana raha hai. Driver jo coustermer ko puchte hai kaha jana hai or cash hai ya online woh sahi kar raha hai.
