Dunno if you'll see this but I'm about to set up a 40 gallon breeder for my two ACFs and I'm having difficulty deciding on what substrate to use.
It's between very large and smooth river rocks with some sand or bare bottom. Have your frogs done okay with the sand? I've read that sand isn't the most preferred option as when they eat it could be scooped up and cause impaction.

Hey man! I have a 75gal tank for one red eared slider. given the size of the tank, cleaning becomes quite a hassle since I live alone. What methods would you suggest to keep the tank cleaner for longer, so a full cleaning process wouldn’t have to be done AS frequently? Maybe a specific type of water treatment or a high powered filter?

I have African dwarf frogs but the African claw frogs look so big :o so chonky bodies 😍 are they too big to be kept with African dwarf frogs?
