7:50 while surge damage has no range, the bolt actually do not really travel that far. Good example is the lunar dungeon, if you stand at the center, sometimes you can't hit the mobs that just came out from the portal due to range fall off

@@scotcondit3083 final stats while in combat. I know u get a ton of elemental from the weapon procs itself so you’ll most likely need more base status dmg than elemental. I want those numbers to be as equal as possible during combat
So don’t take this wrong way fr. Bc I like ur videos I’ve used ur base copy for 4 seasons now fr lol. But I’m seeing a lot of creators build this weapon wrong. You don’t want mayfly googles. You are losing -30% powersurge damage on top of another 20% elemental dmg from pants so you’re missing out on an extra 50% damage. -50% dmg for one trigger count is the worst option ever and is why people are struggling to get it past 100k. Also 3pc Blackstone 2 pc savior would be better. My gear wasn’t even fully maxed out and I had no calibration on my bow and I was doing 126k DPS which would have been significantly more if I had a calibration and upgraded armor. 126k dps with no calibration and 20k procs is def no joke fr . I don’t recommend mayfly goggles is all bc you lose so much dmg. But again bro I’m not coming at u okay😂😂frfr just wanted to clear it up a little!!
@@Occurredcx let me hit you with some math knowledge lol. Overload pants takes 20 shots to trigger its effect so let’s say we do 20 shots with mayfly goggles… every one of those shots will be getting +1 power surge triggers lol on it. So in total u will have 40 power surge hits overload pants gets +1 as well but needs to trigger it 20 times before it activates so in total that’s only 26 shots of power surge. Now take the dmg changes into effect mayfly goggles gets -30% dmg to power surge. If u quantify that into shots that’s aprox -6 shots which leaves you with 34 triggered shots with mayfly goggles. now overload pants gets a +20% boost which equates to only +1.2 triggered shots of your total 6 shots which if u round up to two shots even would leave you with only 28 triggered shots total compared to mayfly’s 34 shots even with a dmg reduction. So as u can see u may have higher power surge dmg with overload pants but because ur triggering power surge way less the overall potential dmg on mayfly goggles is much better even with a 30% reduction. Because ur triggering power surge way more. Don’t be fooled by the negative PS dmg. The plus 1 to trigger count on ever hit more than compensates for that dmg loss in the long run. Now that being said for bosses and build ls with perfect gold mods that increase power surge dmg across the board etc… (which ur normal player most likely doesn’t have) then there is a few instances where overload pants can do more dmg. But it’s very rare. For the average player mayfly will pump out allot more consistent dmg total.
another thing to take into consideration is the mod thunderclap. you get huge spikes in dmg from that mod and it requires u to trigger powersurge as frequently as possible. mayfly goggles also helps proc that mod faster as well.

You're correct. Only 2 for now and Portable is the better one.

weapon and mask mods should be with suffix and with DMG against targets with Power Surge status (debuff will be there after first shot)

It does travel pretty far but you're right there's a drop off. And it's pretty severe. So I tend to prefer having more range on my crossbow.
I've fallen in love with this crossbow. Just pure dopamine jolt to my brain

@@Juilletization is just a secondary option almost never use it honestly it’s just good as a back up and for boss dmg
