Glad to listen to this magnificent ghazal in the soulful voice of Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab all over again !
It's always gratifying to listen to Ustadjee, while he is performing live,owing to his majestic voice and inimitable style of gayiki ! He has an uncanny ability to lend credence to any lafz of the shayar with the exact feel, as depicted in the kalam !
What a beautiful composition it was ! How soulful was Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab in performing it ! What an wonderful feeling it has been !

Namaskar, respected Sir ji. Your goodself has apparently described the nature & impact of this soulful ghazal, sung by the Legend of ghazal singers. I am too listening ghazals of Ustad Ghulam Ali & Ustad Mehdi Hassan, from age of childhood, though then I could not understand ghazals, except the classic music.

Whatever little coloqual Urdu l have come to know is - through listening to the great Mehdi Hassan Saab and Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab for the last 40 years or so, since 1978, when I first came to know about them through their creations !
