My ultimate goal is to see Florence in Glastonbury. Look at the happiness and the energy. People there, united, to enjoy music and loving every second of it. Unreal. The energy and the euphoria.
To this day, when she talks to the crowd and all, with the absolutely gorgeous cellos playing in the background, I can't help but uncontrollably tear up. Her excitement and joy, and her genuine happiness at the crowd responding back to her is so damn touching. Probably one of the greatest live performances I've ever heard.
I have to admit (sadly), I had no idea who she was until I heard the song on GOTG vol 3. I had never heard the song before, and now, I can't get enough of it. She's beautiful and so is this song. I love it so much and I'm a little obsessed (not in a creepy way lol) with her. 😍

i honestly sat here with my jaw wide open in shock when she started jumping AND singing steadily at the same time. THAT is INCREDIBLY difficult to do. I cant even walk and talk.
She's in Freddie territory here with this incredible performance and stunning outfit. Holding a massive audience in the cup of her hand. Beautiful & inspiring!

Saw her live for the first time a month ago , you should have seen me then. I cried for almost two hours straight. Beside that, her performance was life changing. She's still amazing.
The most wonderful thing about Florence is how natural she is. She's a class act, obviously a very cultured and learned woman, and her fashion sense is both creative yet also honest. It doesn't feel fabricated. She's full of such palpable energy and passion, it's really quite startling. The thing I love most about her + the Machine is their combination of genres, the marriage of folksy, traditionally-sounding English music with Florence's powerful, soulful voice.
I still can’t believe I was there and watched this live the atmosphere was incredible, she had us all in the palm of her hands. 😍 this sends me shivers still to this day, I worked backstage that year and she walked past me to go on stage and I honestly was so star struck I couldn’t believe it. I'm 20 now, i remember being 14 years old, home alone, in my living room dancing around tot his performance as it streamed live on my tv. There is no end to my love for this band and that woman. On that note: OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN 6 YEARS SINCE THIS PERFORMANCE!".

There's something special about someone who knows how to command a festival stage and can gradually encourage an entire Glasto crowd to jump and jump and jump. I mean, the people at the back are just seeing a fuzzy white dot on a stage, but they're still jumping.
Shes out of tune, shes been drinking. she occasionally sings well. Its so easy to be an armchair critic in times of instant gratification. This is an artist who has worked very hard to stake her place in music. This is pure raw emotion. Unfiltered by producers or record companies. Simply an artist obviously enjoying what she does and connecting with her audience. Nothing more. Everybody has to be outrageous and show how they don't conform to anything by being the "best" haters on the web. Give me a fucking break..........
Here is a little secret: no one sounds good at Bonaroo in a late day concert. I've been; it's disgustingly hot. Giant summer festivals are awesome because you can see so many bands but they're intense. Especially for the performers, I imagine.
This is the 2nd Stage at Glastonbury, the sun normally sets over that field. The 2nd stage at Glastonbury are notorious for being a "tough crowd". Very few performers were ever gave this response on the 2nd stage at Glastonbury. It's a jaw dropping performance.
I found myself with the biggest smile when she was talking to the crowd, it was beautiful, everything about this performance, her voice, every single instrument. I loved it all. I have never felt so entranced listening to music like this.
