I have to admit (sadly), I had no idea who she was until I heard the song on GOTG vol 3. I had never heard the song before, and now, I can't get enough of it. She's beautiful and so is this song. I love it so much and I'm a little obsessed (not in a creepy way lol) with her. 😍
My ultimate goal is to see Florence in Glastonbury. Look at the happiness and the energy. People there, united, to enjoy music and loving every second of it. Unreal. The energy and the euphoria.
She's in Freddie territory here with this incredible performance and stunning outfit. Holding a massive audience in the cup of her hand. Beautiful & inspiring!
might not, but you cant compare this to freddies later shows. i think this was their first festival. i was at tempelhof last year and we literally made the earth quake. so yeah haha
i honestly sat here with my jaw wide open in shock when she started jumping AND singing steadily at the same time. THAT is INCREDIBLY difficult to do. I cant even walk and talk.
To this day, when she talks to the crowd and all, with the absolutely gorgeous cellos playing in the background, I can't help but uncontrollably tear up. Her excitement and joy, and her genuine happiness at the crowd responding back to her is so damn touching. Probably one of the greatest live performances I've ever heard.
Saw her live for the first time a month ago , you should have seen me then. I cried for almost two hours straight. Beside that, her performance was life changing. She's still amazing.
The most wonderful thing about Florence is how natural she is. She's a class act, obviously a very cultured and learned woman, and her fashion sense is both creative yet also honest. It doesn't feel fabricated. She's full of such palpable energy and passion, it's really quite startling. The thing I love most about her + the Machine is their combination of genres, the marriage of folksy, traditionally-sounding English music with Florence's powerful, soulful voice.
This is seriously one of the most wonderfull things i've ever seen. Have you ever seen someone having so much fun in 7 minutes? And the crowd is amzing too.
@@ranielpangilinan727 We got there last tbh. There was slavery and colonialism for a long time before the British Empire. The British Empire wasn't pretty but it wasn't the first.
Everything about this is goddam solid. The camera angles, the crowd, the flags flapping in the wind, the beautiful sky, jumping, the crowd JAMMING at the end, 'can you hear the horses, CUZ HERE,THEY COME!''
I still can’t believe I was there and watched this live the atmosphere was incredible, she had us all in the palm of her hands. 😍 this sends me shivers still to this day, I worked backstage that year and she walked past me to go on stage and I honestly was so star struck I couldn’t believe it. She’s actually quite short
sugarhoneybee I think I had the image in my head she was 6 foot so maybe yeah she’s not short as such 😂 but shorter than I thought should have been what I said!
I love how humble she is and on top of her talent she actually LOVES what she does! For all those saying this isn't her best vocal, let me assure you it is very hard to sing while dancing and running. That's why most singers don't actually sing at concerts!
Every year I post this on all my social media saying "oh my god i can't believe it's been ___ years since this performance!!". I'm 20 now, i remember being 14 years old, home alone, in my living room dancing around tot his performance as it streamed live on my tv. There is no end to my love for this band and that woman. On that note: OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S BEEN 6 YEARS SINCE THIS PERFORMANCE!".
Will never get tired of watching this. Her terrific energy resonates so well with the crowd. Dear audience, all around the world, this is how you kill it. Your participation is the only thing that matters to an artist.
Happiness hit her like a train on a track Coming towards her stuck still no turning back She hid around corners and she hid under beds She killed it with kisses and from it she fled With every bubble she sank with her drink And washed it away down the kitchen sink The dog days are over The dog days are done The horses are coming So you better run Run fast for your mother, run fast for your father Run for your children, for your sisters and brothers Leave all your love and your longing behind You cant carry it with you if you want to survive The dog days are over The dog days are done Can't you hear the horses? 'Cause here they come And I never wanted anything from you Except everything you had and what was left after that too, oh Happiness hit her like a bullet in the head Struck from a great height by someone who should know better than that

Have been a Glastonbury a few times before this, however the second stage was always viewed as a hard place to play. This was 2nd stage and she and the rest absolutely nailed it!
This is a real moment she created. In the crowd I'm sure there are people who are now mothers and fathers, people struggling with mental health, and everything in between. But in that moment, they were one.
rehctacria you can, but one of the best parts of live music is how connected everyone is, especially in the songs everyone knows, and hundreds of people holding their phones up ruins that a bit
This is not my genre but this song is the most amazing song and written song ive heard for a long time. You don't need to know what she's singing about cos her voice is in tune. So sad but very happy, I love it...10/10 best performance i've saw in decades
I've been fortunate enough over the years to see a lot of the hottest bands on the planet, and Florence absolutely blew me away as only a few others have done when I saw her open for U2 during their 360 tour..Incredible live show !!
Laying in bed trying to sleep and this video popped up. I watched it and have tears coming out of the corner of my eyes. Not even mad about not sleeping tonight. I need to see them in concert before I die
No matter how many times I've watched this over the years, it never ceases to make me cry. Not because I'm sad, but because of how happy it makes me. Really cool seeing all these people come together and respond to music in such a way that just screams being free. Just beautiful really.
I'm very closed minded when it comes to music. I listen to rap, and maybe three artists of different genres. It's takes something like this to open my mind. It's just plain magic damnit.
Oh my gosh, this literally made me burst into tears , there's something truly magical about Florence and the band when they perform and seeing the crowd being so ecstatic really struck a nerve in me 😭❤ I guess it's because it's 2022 and covid is still here but I truly hope we can overcome it and go back to magical moments like this! I truly hope I can experience a music festival , especially one as special as this one someday! And I truly hope I can experience seeing Florence and the Machine live one day 🥺❤

There's something special about someone who knows how to command a festival stage and can gradually encourage an entire Glasto crowd to jump and jump and jump. I mean, the people at the back are just seeing a fuzzy white dot on a stage, but they're still jumping.

She needs to come back so they can do it with better audio + video. Still amazing though.
So good to hear genuine happiness from a performer towards their audience.
