A comment on Jennie crying. Jennie cowrote "Stay" (the song she was singing when she got emotional). It was in a recent interview when she talked about being emotional on this stage. She was thinking about her training days and the effort it took to get to where she was, singing to such a large crowd. I guess the thought made her cry. Jisoo never cries. Jisoo has commented that she tries to stay strong for the other girls and will not cry in public for the other member's sake. There is a brief clip of Jisoo getting emotional. This emotional event took place as she watched Jennie's solo debut. Jisoo was so proud of Jennie that she,jisoo, let out a small tear. This remains the only time Jisoo was seen to cry in public.

In KPOP a visual is someone who is classed as basically the prettiest member of the group according to Korean beauty standards. Basically, in Korean beauty standards Jisoo is the most beautiful of the group. However, Blackpink is a special group and are classed by many as an 'all visual group,' as they are all considered pretty. Hence the name 'Blackpink' - the black showing their savage side, and pink showing there pretty side.

Jennie got overwhelmed because the song they were singing, Stay, was a song she contributed to writing during her training days. She was crying because years later, after so much hard work, the group has made it big, and performing that song was a dream come true. She isn't "fragile" because *gasp* she has feelings?! Being a part of the music industry, especially as a female kpop idol, where the standards are so unrealistic that idols are constantly being worked to oblivion, can be a special kind of torment.
They all deserve better than being dismissed as "being emotional" during such an important moment.

Her full real name is Park Chaeyoung, or commonly known as Rosé but other Blackpink members call her "Chaeng." Sometimes, she is also called "Chipmunk", "Foodsé", and "Pasta" She is korean but was born on February 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand and raised in Melbourne, Box Hill, Australia. As a result of living abroad, she became a fluent English speaker with an Aussie accent. She came from a wealthy family where her Dad and Sister are International Lawyers the reason why they lived in Australia. She audition because her dad ask her to and ended being the only one who passed among more than 700 people who auditioned. Rosé started her training after moving back to Seoul from Australia. She trained for 4 years and 2 months (May 2012). She is the third oldest member of the Group.
After more than 4 years of training she debuted as the main vocalist, and lead dancer of the biggest girl group called BLACKPINK.
The American record labels and Korean record labels are completely different. In America, a label will scout you and pick you up as an artist. In Korea, you audition at a company in hope of being a trainee. If you pass and become a trainee, you train for years in sing/rapping and dancing and other things to debut. The company will then decide whether or not they’ll debut you in a group or as a solo artist. You debut with people you’ve been training with or you'll never debut at all. Blackpink started training together since they were 14-15 years old, trained for 4-10 years and they debuted in August 2016. BLACKPINK have donated 40M KRW (34,000 USD) for restoration of the highland and to help support the victims of Sokcho forest fire. According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, on 8th April, Blackpink members Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo donated 10M KRW each to their organisation. When the wildfire occurred on the evening of the 4th, Blackpink said, "we sympathise with the pain of the residents of the Gangwon area," they also cancelled their comeback press conference meeting which was scheduled the next day. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,790 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. HER BEING INDEPENDENT and GREAT ROLE MODEL
she is an only child, being strong indepent she is, i really admire her for that. she goes to korea to train all by herself because she has the passion to reach and achieve her dreams. we all know blackpink members are rich even before they became blackpink but they didn't look at theirselves higher than anyone and when you became a trainee you just have yourself, trainees are ostensibly allowed to communicate with their parents, the nature of the beast doesn't leave much time for it. Trainees' phones are taken away for almost the entire day because they usually practice 12 am to 12 pm a day. Actual visits from family members occur rarely, if at all, and only with approval from management supervisors and once on their life when still a trainee they lived in a small dorm together, and they only do grocery one a month where at some point they have to only eat scramble eggs and strawberry jam, they didn't want to ask money to their parents and revealed that they once live with cockroaches. Blackpink and Kpop Artists as a whole experienced the same situation and it's not easy at all even if you are rich there is no exception and even some other kpop artist are not supported by their parent to became one but they did it all by theirselves because they has the passion to do achieve their dreams but haters is just cruel and always gonna hate.
