    Just bought one of these handy dandy tricky well designed jobbies because of your video. This is way better than the old boat crank repurposed after the boat sank dealeeo on a 2 by board. Anyways .... Thanks!

    first thing I did with mine was flip it to lefthand orientation. it makes it a little more awkward to use, but being able to clearly see the draw stops hit the cables is worth it.

    My lower cable came out in my brand new LCA Draw board launching the book into me QAD rest almost dry during my Matthews bow. LCA was awesome and took care of it. Still getting the trust back considering it cost time and my rest is still at QAD. Had to buy another rest to use my bow. But LCA took care of me no problem.

    I have the older version LCA draw board on my LCA Ultimate Press and sure liked the way this new winch let off without having to hold a release lever forward. Is it possible to upgrade my older LCA winch with one of these newer versions?

      Hello, yes you can contact our office and you can purchase the Draw Board upgrade for $50 + shipping. They'll send you an RA# and what you'll do is return the Draw Board to us here and then we will preform the upgrade to it. Thank you

    Isn’t the tube steel square? Why couldn’t you just pull out the winch and rotate it and slide it back in to the press instead of flipping the whole thing? Is there some kind of reinforcement in the press arm blocking that?

    • @LCArchery

      It is a square tube, but the topside within the tubing has a mounting plate where the block is attached to install the press fingers.

    But what do you use to measure draw length?
    Since there's no actual board with measurements there

    • @LCArchery
      @LCArchery  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! You would either measure it manually, or you can purchase a "draw length" arrow which you would put in the bow and it can measure the draw length once you draw the bow. That type arrow can be purchased from Lancaster Archery Supply!

    My 2019 carbon Hoyt does not pull straight. So when I set my timing it’s actually not in time when I actually draw the bow. Does anyone else have this problem? Or am I doing something wrong! My thumb portion of my drop away rest also hits the rod.

      It's because the winch is 2-3 inches below the arrow or nock point! Does not give accurate readings. You can prove this by checking the timing with the draw board and then with your release. You will get grossly different timing reading.

    How do you check draw length? I'd like to add I bought one of these and I'm not real impressed. The rubber band broke instantly dude is crazy taking his hands off the bow and just leaving the bow hang by that cheap rubber band. I feel this simple contraption is way over priced especially because you can't measure the actual draw of the bow.

    • @LCArchery
      @LCArchery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Marsh, there's a few different ways to check the draw length, but each way requires either a long ruler, or a measuring tape. There's a few different options and the best thing to do is hope online and watch a few videos through TH-cam about checking Draw Length. There's different archer's that like different methods, and you can figure out which method you like best.

      @@LCArchery I mean checking the draw on the actual bow while being in the draw board.

      I had the same question, and the best solution that I've found is to buy something like the Easton Draw Check Arrow, which has measurements written on the arrow. Nock that onto your string, draw back with the LCA draw board, and check the measurement.
