Been with eXp, Redfin, Coldwell, KW and a boutique. Which one did I like the most, any one with the most listing agents in my office where I could leverage hosting the most open houses. I’m primarily a buyers agent and having a butt load of inventory to choose from helped drive my business growth. I once sold 3 homes in one month because I was able to hold 5 twilights m-f and 4 weekend open houses per week every week for six weeks In the same neighborhood. I circulated prospective clients around the same 5 houses of interest while building relationships and a custom home search for them. All my open houses were similar sqft, style and location so I could leverage all them with the same leads using private tours. I think whatever your nich is going to be based on what options the market is giving you, there may be a brokerage that is able to better accommodate your style of selling. Investor buyers are good too.
This was refreshing to watch and listen. I am a new real estate agent and one mistake I can admit to is walking into a brokerage for an interview with a employee mindset. You really put out some gems for us new real estate agents👍🏾 thank you🙂
When I initially joined exp I was so excited! Unfortunately, I ended up with a mentor who only had a year of experience and did not show any interest in showing me the ropes! I requested another and she wasn’t any better. I ended up leaving because I refuse to give part of my commission to someone with no interest in my success!
I just got off the Exp info call and they mentioned that the % that goes to the sponsor or mentor comes out of the 20% from broker commission not the 80% of agent. Is this not true?
@@blancajrodriguez Sponsors and mentors at eXp are 2 different things. Sponsors are paid from eXp's 20% split for non-capping agents. Mentors are paid from the agent's commissions but mentors are only assigned to agents who haven't completed 3 transactions in the prior 12 months.
Just passed my license exam, and am having a really rough time getting it down to where i want to hang my license with. Your videos are helping, thank you!
@@jourdanmercer5935 hey I just joined a broker and my advice to you would be that many brokers will reach out to you, and you’ll easily find many options but try to talk with the managers there and see which broker has the best mentorship program or a program that helps new agents and gives them free trainings also lets them shadow people. If one broker is not doing enough, you’ll always find a broker who can do more for you. Best of luck
i love your take on this journey. I recently got my inactive license, and researching what i can as how to start part time, since i have a steady job. This was eye opening, Thank you!
My man Marc! Loving your channel. We almost did a deal together out in Gwinnett. If you remember me.💪🏿 I’m with EXP for the exact reason you mentiond. It’s not a perfect Brokerage by any stretch of the imagination, but they have definitely put agents in the best position For life after selling houses. If you are a go-getter, you will do well. Definitely agree that who you have as your sponsor is the most important decision you can make before joining.
A friend of mine has been there for 5 years and was once making 50k a month so he decided to retire and guess what . Market slow down and now he’s back to selling. Exp is great but it’s all dependant on deals my friend. Nothing else
Got licensed about 1 month ago and join exp, come to realized it wasn’t the best choice for me as there no one pushing you to do anything since everything virtual. As for the sponsor he wasn’t much help all he wanted me to do is join a local team which didn’t work for my schedule. Once they realized I wasn’t gonna join they kinda push you always. Currently leaving exp for now
Hello, I'm a new agent and only in my first week with my broker. I went with the first agent that called me, which is Lyon real estate. From what I have heard, the training there is great. This is my first week and the fees are substantial. Yes they told me about some of them but not all. Especially the car insurance they want you to carry...way to much. They won't close to $4,000 a year to work there!
I came across you i dont know how but you follow my friend David bigger pockets. The whole shiny new object thing is so true. Im not into the raaa raaa i just want to go out and meet people and get my name out there

Have you joined any? I am also in the same situation
I just passed my exam 3 days ago and am trying to decide what brokerage to join too and the next steps.

Fantastic and informative video. Thank you!
Thank you. This was the best video I’ve watched so far. Great advice.
Love the positive insight/advice!

Not EXP.. they didn't help me at all. I think joining a team is your best bet no matter where you go.

Very Informative.......thanks
Unstoppable mindset ✍️
Great video! Thank you.
Hi thank you for your videos, do you know which company charges the less fees to agents and pays the highest percentage on a sale to agents?
Thanks!!!
Gracias!

That sounds crazy. Better to cut and run before you get all your systems set up. Find a mentor that will invest in you and join their brokerage.
Yes agree! ❤🎉🎉
I'm interested!
New agent in Jersey any advise?
Congratulaciones, go where they going to teach you !
Is going to cost you $$ but
100% of nothing is nothing !
Really helpful. Would like to know more about exp realty. Is it a MLM company?
What are you looking for? Revenue share? Stock? residual income and great splits?
Is eXp better than Real Broker?
From what I understand so far… no def not
Another video I saw said that exp ppl are supposed to RECRUIT….. sounds pyramid-y to me haha
I booked a zoom call but u didn't show up??
Not good. Sorry that happened to you.
interesting. Instagram link - not found. Website - private site, no content. At this point I would not be surprised if email bounces.
Happy to help!
