Hi guys, regarding the IAS light fix: We simply didn’t have an input controller layout for the Bravo, when we wrote the LED profile. So we could not know, which button would be mapped to which autopilot function but could only make educated guesses and try to map the LEDs accordingly. So, depending on which aircraft you fly the LEDs might work, or not work. As simply not all aircraft use the same autopilot functionality. I hope that clears it up a little. Have fun with your Bravos! Greets, Ben from Aerosoft
any idea how to get the caution&warning lights on the annunciator panel to work? I have the latest driver from your website and the other lights work fine, but never these 2.
The drivers for the LED lights for the Bravo TQ for use in MSFS are now available, version 1.002. There are a numbers of bugs which we have found solutions to. Hopefully this is a start to further updates to expand the versatility of the Bravo autopilot and LED’s.
I have checked the .json file with the newest drivers on Honeycombs site and the file is updated as you recommended but still not lights at all...Any suggestions?

Even thought this video was about the Bravo Quadrant, I was able to determine how to fix an ongoing problem that I had in MSFS with the NAV button not staying on when I loaded a GPS flight plan. Your video helped me to appreciate that it is probably a conflict in my assignments on my controllers. By deleting the conflict the Nav button works again Thanks a bunch! Lee

Hi Mark. When you say "I checked the config for the LED file", how did you do that? Where do you look and what are you looking for? I have followed the instructions exactly but the lights aren't coming on at all for me. Great tutorials by the way! I love the Honeycomb yoke/quadrant, but it's been anything but "out the box" for me. I'd have been totally lost without these videos, so many thanks for putting them together.
Hey, Did you succeed and how do you turn on the lighting? I also don't have any profiles in the settings for quadrant in mfs and I don't know how to do that.
Now owning the yoke and Bravo throttle I’ve noticed the elevator trim on both hardware is not working correctly. The trim is at 10% and if I try and change with the throttle wheel, or trim switched on the yoke the trim will change. Unfortunately, it then moves back to the starting 10%. My question: “do you know of a fix for this issue?”
Hello, Monieur Can you give me a Honeycomb bravo trottle tutorial for an Airbs A320 thank you. I admire your videos but I can not find the video for the configuration of the trottle bravo for Airbus pending thank you and take care of yourself
Hi! Question: At 03:36 you say your "LED configuration was copied across to the props but not to the jets". How do you check this? Is part of the .json copied to the aircraft folders? Appreciate some guidance because now I have zero lights working on the Fenix (however they do work on any other) nor do any of the turn knobs work... Good job on the videos, great help!
The led activation data on driver load is only transferred to one profile. The issue with the Fenix is it uses non-standard commands for many actions so the default bravo functions don’t work unfortunately.
@@SimHangerFS So if I understand correctly (from your vid and feedback): I need to take a prop profile and copy that to a new A320 profile or just select my current a320 profile (based on a 2 engine jet) and then active the bridge? Sry for this line of questions, but currently lost on what to do (besides using spad.next).
several people have asked the question regarding you saying "3:36 I see that the LED config had copied to the props but not to the jets" but you haven't answered anyone's question on this from what I can tell. where do you see that the config has been copied to the props?
The led config is copied to the default profile only…which happens to be the twin prop config, as mentioned in the video. It is not copied to any other existing profile. All profiles should be created/build from this profile.
@@SimHangerFS i appreciate the response. your video makes it clear that it only affects the default profile, but the question that you repeatedly aren't answering is where are you SEEING this? " I see that the LED config had copied to the props but not to the jets". It's a moot point for me now as I've found another utility that works better, and again I appreciate the vid and response.
question please, there is something wrong in my msfs2020 when i dial the heading knob, the course also move simultanously, how do i fix it? i deleted and reinstalled the game, even without the bravo quadrant connected it does it. how do I fix it?? thnx for help, can't find anything online that helped me overcome the problem
I cant get the ias to control the 747 throttle, it controls the display I can see the triangle but the throttle will not change. I'm having to manually use the throttle.
Hey Mark, I was hoping you'd reprise this video with the newest MSFS version. I just upgraded my hardware and I'm new to MSFS (used to use X-Plane) and I'm pulling my hair out trying to configure my Alpha, Bravo and older sytex rudder. I can't seem to get my flaps working for anything using the axis tools.
Hello , Please can you explain the beggining of your control setting. Im missing the bit where you say you move the throttle filter to search how is this done? I payed £600 for my Quadrant and yoke and i have never been so dissapointed. Ive tried to slow the video down but i just cant follow exactly what you are showing. Sorry im quite new to Flight simming but i am an electronics engineer by hobby as well as an ex Military Special forces Commando. I say ex as Helmand province claimed my left leg. MSFS is amazing and takes me back to places i never thought i would fly over again. But it helps if you have suitable working flight hardware and software.Thank you, Great vid!!
The search function, on the left hand side of the MSFS controls option menu allows you to find things quicker by typing in a name etc, rather than scroll through hundreds of options. You can change the filter search options to all…assigned etc to make it easier to find .
So there is no longer an "Enable LED Lights" download option on their website. Is there a different work around now? I have downloaded the most current driver from them and I still have no LED lights
How do I make the leds work in the aircraft they are not showing, do I have to copy the lines from the JSON file, I am not sure how to get them working?
The led lights are configured to the default profile only...and this should now be twin engine GA. Best method is to then delete any other profiles and recreate new ones from the default profile and this will carry the led lights across.
Maybe you can help, since update to update 5. Under Microsoft flight simulator update section it’s show that honeycomb AFC bridge not install but no download and install button. Plus I have download and install the AFC bride from honeycomb site.
Hi Mark. A little off topic but is there a fix for the annoying 10 degree HDG bug . I can't get the bug to do less than 10 degrees of heading change. Thanks.
But nobody seems to have a tutorial on the A320NX Fly-By-Wire? Can't get my Auto-Pilot light on yet, the 'AP1' comes on the cockpit 'dashboard'. Also the Heading is not shown 'on' on the dashboard.
You seeing APU working? Haven’t got that LED to show up. How about the anti ice? I notice that the anti ice comes in when it’s off and visa versa? Seeing that also?
@@SimHangerFS Switch itself is binded correctly. I meant in the plane. For example I tried the Longitude. When I turn on Anti-Ice it stays on. When I turn it off it stays on as well. Using the Mouse, not the buttons. Only way to shut it off is if I turn on Pilot Heat.
First of all, I think I’ve found my new favorite sim TH-camr. Second, my alpha and bravo will be here today, as it’s been a while I’m hoping some or all of these issues have been ironed out. Still cannot get the AutoPilot to work properly in the A320 Fly-By-Wire. The glass cockpit shows autopilot on -AP1- and so is the HDG. I cannot get the AutoPilot master button to light up. And as for the Altitude, I can't get that to work. I have the latest drivers from Aerosoft for 'AFC Bridge'.
The FBW mod uses some bespoke, non-standard mappings. That is why your having difficulty with config. No solution that I have found without third party apps.
Mark - I downloaded the drivers however it shows in my my content manager as "uninstalled". When I select it I'm not given any option to install. It's located in the community folder as you show in your video...any suggestions? Even when I click on the executable it appears like it's installed...but no lights and still showing as "uninstalled" in content manager.
Hi, this is probably a dumb question, but does the throttle quadrant need to be plugged in? I went to the download page and got drivers, but there was no text about "Enable LED lights." Thanks. Update: Even plugged in, I didn't get that text. Maybe it is all inclusive now.
@@SimHangerFS Thank you for answering, but I don't think you can plug the throttle quadrant into the yoke. They have to be plugged into the computer separately unless I completely messed up my installation. This is the first civilian yoke and throttle I've used. I was using an X-56 before.

I think I'm missing something. The video's tittle is 'LED LIGHTS Configuration Guide', and I see you install the driver (as I did myself, the AFC_Bridge folder is in the community folder), but then you're configuring levers and switches, but I didn't see anything about how you got the lights working. And I dont mean a specific light, but all the lights in general. I dont have any lights in any aircraft, so it must be turned on in some way, I assume. In the MSFS Content Manager, the AFC_Bridge folder is categorized as 'Not Installed', but I found that that's normal... I'm getting kinda stuck here...
The lights work providing you build your configs from the “ new” default config that has the lights now built in. Old configs need to be replaced unfortunately.
@@SimHangerFS I found the problem. From the video, I knew there was an exe-file in the folder, but Im not used to apps that need to be started, that the exe-file is 'hidden' behind so a long folder path, like this. But I have my light working. After starting the sim, I start AFC_Bridge and they work. And my complements and appreciation for your videos. I find a lot of valuable info and you're a very good teacher. Im glad I found your channel.
I just did a new build, and I reinstalled the Honeycomb driver ver 2.1 and I don't have the lights for the auto pilot on the throttle. Is it still a requirement to modify the BFC_throttle config file?
Everything appears to be working fine accept the A/P lights will not illuminate but they do function. That’s my issue, so you’re saying I have to reconfigure all my throttles even though they work?
When I look in the config json file, I don't even see anything obvious that would turn on the master caution or master warning lights, have you seen these to be functional?
The workaround I use for the hdg changing in 10 degree increments and vs/alt incrementing in 1000 ft increments is to use fsuipc. It only happens if you have a switch mapped in MSFS that is always on, like a toggle/rocker switch or even the mag switch on the Alpha I've heard. Hard to believe that bug is still around.
@Wealthy Wealthy They fixed that bug a long time ago, weird. FSUIPC is basically used for mapping controls outside of the flight sim and it gives a more options for things you can map. I don't use FSUIPC anymore since it came out of beta and you have to buy it and I didn't need it after they fixed the 10 degree bug. Although come to think of it when I tried a default plane awhile back it seemed to have that issue, but I never fly default planes since they are all completely broken now. I only fly the justflight pipers and they don't have that issue.

Hi Mark. How can I enable bravo TQ lights on XBOX? (I know Bravo TQ is to be connected to XPC yoke via honeycomb HUB), or is it automatically enabled? My hub arrives tomorrow😁
Do you think it makes sense to buy Bravo when I'm only flying in VR ??? I ordered a Bravo throttle when I didn't have VR equipment yet, and now I'm thinking about canceling my Bravo purchase. Is the quality of the throttle levers themselves better than the Saitek I still use?
Hello, the Honeycomb quality is significantly better than the Saitek quality, they use a harder plastic, better components etc. For VR, in my opinion, many of the features of the Bravo will not be accessible as you can't see the unit when flying. If your only flying VR then the Bravo is not recommended. Regards

This may sound obvious but check the aircraft your flying has retractable gear. Also check ...when you choose an aircraft and on the runway ready to go ....via the controls section, that the default profile is being used by the sim. Hello, could you please help me know why even with autopilot all aircraft in MSFS2020 on a cruise flight my plane flight straight but banked to the left or right. Is there something to be configured ? Thanks in advance!
When you press autopilot the aircraft will react to whatever the autopilot settings are. Often it will default to heading mode for example...so the aircraft will turn to the set heading. Press heading button and it will turn heading mode off etc. There is also Nav mode (GPS). The other possibility is that you have two bindings set to a button or axis. So you are pressing a button or moving an axis and it is also moving the ailerons as well causing the aircraft to bank. Check all your bindings in the control section. Regards
FYI, the LED driver download from Aerosoft/Honeycomb will only work if you purchased MSFS2020 from xBox/Microsoft. I purchased my version through Valve/Steam. When I ran the install .exe file, it failed because it could not find the folder stream that Steam created to install and run the program. I would be interested if others out there have experience the same issue and if there is a fix for this. The folders it was looking for under Packages are Community and Official, whatever those are. Can I just create them and run the .exe again, and hope the drivers install properly?
Thanks for the reply. This is something the Aerosoft or Honeycomb needs to fix asap. Their .exe program, unlike every other install program I have run during the last 20 years, doesn't allow you to change the load path, it is apparently hard-coded and can't be modified. Terrible, lazy programming on their part IMO. As an experiment, I created the Community and Official folders it couldn't find so they would exist and ran the .exe again. Guess what, it ran successfully to completion this time (no run time error) but since the drivers are not in the place Steam loaded MSFS to, the led lights on the throittle quadrant still don't work. Steam puts their version under a "Roaming" folder, whereas Aerosoft puts them under the "Local" folder. Until they change the config to allow me to change it to where I want it to be, i.e. "Roaming", the driver(s) will never be installed where they need to be.
Nothing happens when I click on the Bravo TQ - LED lights download link. I also tried to open in new page. New page comes up but nothing happens. Please help
Hi Tommy, try the option to open in incognito mode, that usually works if all else fails. Easier with google than Microsoft edge, but try both. Regards
@@SimHangerFS That worked. Now where do I find the Honeycomb Configurator tool? I've looked everywhere, which means it's probably staring me in the face. I'm not sure why all this seems so impossible but I think they could have done a better job with the software and drivers downloads.

@Patrick Smith did you order via Amazon or from the company directly?
you will get it soon. i got mine , just now have to figure out where to put it so i can fly DCS with joystick base and grip at the same time. Honeycomb equipment I'm afraid is taking up lots of real estate.
Thanks for another great video.
How do I connect it to my Xbox through the hub WITHOUT the alpha yoke
Maybe in 2 years, when i buy it, i will be able to enjoy it.
My question: “do you know of a fix for this issue?”
do you have AI auto trim on in your assistance settings?
@@SkooBalls correct, that was the problem. Thanks.

Hello, Monieur
Can you give me a Honeycomb bravo trottle tutorial for an Airbs A320 thank you.
Thanks. Is the FCU and inc/dec knob functionality pre-programmed or do they have to be set in sim. Cheers.
Download the bravo driver from Honeycomb for MSFS and it is preprogrammed.
several people have asked the question regarding you saying "3:36 I see that the LED config had copied to the props but not to the jets" but you haven't answered anyone's question on this from what I can tell. where do you see that the config has been copied to the props?
You need to activate auto throttle in the cockpit as well. Then it will work. Regards
But when u turn the pc off and turn it back on and go into MSFS for a flight the lights wont turn on, how to fix???

Still cannot get the AutoPilot to work properly in the A320 Fly-By-Wire. The glass cockpit shows autopilot on -AP1- and so is the HDG. I cannot get the AutoPilot master button to light up. And as for the Altitude, I can't get that to work. I have the latest drivers from Aerosoft for 'AFC Bridge'.
The FBW mod uses some bespoke, non-standard mappings. That is why your having difficulty with config. No solution that I have found without third party apps.

The throttle quad must be plugged in to the yoke to work. Lights are not yet configurable….currently in Beta test.

@@geofferyshanen7758 you need to build configs from the default (twin engine) config after install of the AFC_Bridge.
I just did a new build, and I reinstalled the Honeycomb driver ver 2.1 and I don't have the lights for the auto pilot on the throttle. Is it still a requirement to modify the BFC_throttle config file?
Configs have to be built from the new default profile after you have installed the driver they don’t always carry across. Try restart first though.
Thanks for the tip 😁
@Wealthy Wealthy They fixed that bug a long time ago, weird. FSUIPC is basically used for mapping controls outside of the flight sim and it gives a more options for things you can map. I don't use FSUIPC anymore since it came out of beta and you have to buy it and I didn't need it after they fixed the 10 degree bug. Although come to think of it when I tried a default plane awhile back it seemed to have that issue, but I never fly default planes since they are all completely broken now. I only fly the justflight pipers and they don't have that issue.
Hi Mark, how can I set up NAVIGATION button in Honeycomb Quadrant, the NAV light never come out, just HEADING light on. Thanks

There is no config app for MSFS as there is for p3d and Xplane. It should load directly into MSFS controls. Regards
Please help

Thanks for your feedback and support. 👍 what mouse clicks? I will check my audio....just this video or others as well?
@@SimHangerFS Hi again.
I hear it almost every time after a sentence is done by voiceover. I believe this is when you press “stop recording”.
I’ve noticed it in a few videos, but it is indeed not in all :)
I hope you don’t take it in the wrong way, but I’m sure you don’t.
Again, many thanks for your hard work!
@@mattyflying5483 don’t mind at all....appreciate the feedback 😀
