I'd just use maybe 3 dosatrons for a 4 plant grow to test them , one for calmag one for full spectrum nutes als fox farm big bud , the other for ph up or down . May not need the third as my water is RO and come out at a perfect 6.4-6.5 after adding nutes is between 6.1-6.3 which is optimal for me , in the mixed substrate I grow in , maybe have a third just in case I need the ph up or down or too supplement. Your video def helped me understand this a bit better about how these dosatrons work. Thanks bud haha

Im currently using a 4% dose injector (similar to yours) to fertilize my over 600 pepper plants. You mentioned you used to mix your nutrients by hand before (come up with your own concentrate solution).
Im trying to wrap my head around my required ppm for my plants vs the small injection (4%) from the doser. In theory, my nutrient tank should have a very high concentration of required nutrients for it to achieve the required ppm to feed the plants. Which means adding and dissolving a huge amount of nutrients in a small tank (not even sure this is possible as they may get super saturated and will not dissolve). IS there a much simpler way? or maybe even water the plants with the weaker nutrient solution more regularly?

Jhavard Jonas calling the nutrient manufacturer they can suggest starting points for your stock tanks and what percentage ratios. They all usually have this info on hand for customers.

I'm wondering, do you have to switch stuff around manually between watering? If so how often are you watering? I'm trying to imagine how many times you'd be switching things on/off depending on what you're watering?

Almost all of these doser systems are set up for drain to waste. They pull it and mix it at the same time, feed it to the mainlines and into the room(s) and then directly to the grey water line/waste drain. Recirculatory systems that use dosers like this are usually only for mixing. They mix up a giant tank, just like they were doing drain to waste, but instead of constant, the dosers only function once or twice a week, when main reservoirs are changed.

100-200g per gallon. Dial it in on percentages with your doser and strain. Start with less and pay attention.

D Primo yeah you can use nutrients straight out the jug like the calmag you see. These nutrients are a powder that you mix into RO water at any strength you wish.

I'm going to start using veg+ bloom in couple weeks, seems pretty simple compared to house and garden... Do you get the same yield or better than what you used before and if your mixing your 30g tanks are you using full dose and how you calibrate using this dosatron setup... i get the same yield no matter what nutrients i use. nutrients don't play a factor on yield. the way you set the dosers depends on the strain. i use vegbloom cause i was tired of mixing my own and it they make a simple dostaron formula.
