Does making the low poly model a little larger and covering the high poly model so that it is not left out make the details more obvious in the normal map process?
It helps make it more precise. This guy explains it well th-cam.com/video/G6Yc3b-3GfA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2FBjHulrN8EKFAd_
is the resolution of my Texture (1024) the resolution of the height map ? so more resolution more crispy ? i need a hard sharpen texture because my high mesh has some little holes i need to copie as much as i can, thanks sir
If you need to preserve more detail I would go higher with the resolution yes. For games probably no higher than 4k. If you need it to be more crisp you can save the texture and sharpen it in Photoshop or gimp 👍
@@goldenorbstudios oh nice tip, with the photoshop, i prefer photopea :D but yes nice idea, thanks bro ciao
Ctrl-T does not work for me, Is it a specific addon command?
Node Wrangler, built in blender addon for free
@@herkulesii.3898 Thank you
Sorry about that, I forget node wrangler is not on by default.
Steps to add node wrangler;
Edit>Preferences>Addons>Search node wrangler> Tick the box and now it should work. Again sorry about that, thank you for pointing that out 🙌
