- This video explains the concept behind the quadcopter drone and explores the microcontroller at the heart of this project: the Teensy 4.0, programmable with the Arduino language.
The purpose of this video series is to learn the basics behind a quadcopter drone and enable you to build one yourself, by dividing this challenging project in several easy-to-understand parts.

This is awesome. Gonna do one for sure!
great tutorial, really impressive,
liked every detail you covered,
thanks
Great Tutorial!!!
good💪
Great design! Thanks so much for sharing. I have lots of recycled 18650 Li-ion batteries lying around, and love the idea of using them in a drone. Would this be practical/safe?
Hi! WOuld it be possible to replace the Teensy 4 with and arduino pro mini or nano, are they fast enough?
Could I connect a antenna, BM180, MPU6050 and a SD slot at the same time
Can we use Arduino nano instand of teensy
arduino nano is far from the teensy, you can try, but i'm pretty sure that it will be overwhelmed by the amout of data of the acceleration sensor/gyroscope
if you want numbers : arduino nano is capable of 16Mhz and teensy is like 400 or 600Mhz smt like that
Hi, can we do this project with the Arduino Nano? Thank you!
Yes you can for the easiest controller (rate mode), but once you will go to more complex code you will need a more powerful microcontroller

Taking off my hat !
you have done a great job
This is very cool
I really want to repeat this with my children students
Agreed remark about performance but
There is always expediency + the ratio of the necessary sufficient performance availability AND the price of the microcontroller
In your opinion, who is second and third in terms of productivity after tinsie?
sorry, after Teensy 4.0
@@mbogobot can pi pico used is it more powerful than arduino
Teensy is so expensive
