I saw this as it was happening on the live show. You paused at this moment so you didn't experience it...but when he stopped singing there was complete silence for at least 4 seconds. The audience was spellbound and in a daze. Took them a moment to remember where they were. That, to me, spoke volumes about that performance. I remember thinking that was the best thing I've ever heard. It was mind blowing. Brian seems to be a nice young man. I wish him a long career in the music industry. Great reaction as usual! Thanks! Hope you are doing well. Sending you love from Texas!! ❤
"but when he stopped singing there was complete silence for at least 4 seconds" That was edited in for the TV broadcast. That didn't happen live as it was recorded.
Very proud mom, who has always supported him when he felt like he had nobody else. This is hands down my favorite version of this song! The little run when he says feather is perfect, his voice floats on that, such power.❤ Thank you John, don’t forget about Forestella please 😊.
Been waiting for this!!! He is an amazing singer. Love his rendition with all the emotion. everything you hear him do is purposeful and deliberate. Yes, that is his mom they keep showing.
He came back for AGT Champions too... his version of Man in the Mirror was sooo good... Thanks John... Brian is amazing and one of the nicest people... so much content on his page.. and so many talented friends... Anything you choose from him is worth watching..
Brian is amazing. Had the pleasure of seeing him in an Off-Broadway show, really nice guy. I would totally recommend checking out Vincint Cannady's cover of this too.
There's a pair of sisters from the Voice a few years back that did an incredible version of Creep. Would love to see you watch that one as well. You will really enjoy it!!😊
Brian Justin Crum, al igual que Adam Lambert son privilegiados con sus voces, son de la misma ciudad San Diego, son muy amigos y además estudiaron con la misma profesora de canto
Not sure if you knew this but he is good friends with Adam Lambert, they had the same vocal coach! Watch Superfruit do Rise, it's breathtaking with him in it!
AGT fan here. I remember watching this episode. I thought, ' "Creep", ugh.' It's arguably an overdone song on competition shows. He gave me goosebumps, then goosebumps on top of those goosebumps. It was an absolutely spectacular and mesmerizing performance. It's one of those AGT performances never forgotten over the years.
Hi John, thanks for another great reaction. I was wondering if you would be able to react to Diana Ankudinova again? She's 20 years old now, and she did a recent concert in Russia where she sang "No Time To Die" (from James Bond) and the theme music from the movie Dune. IDK if you're familiar with Dune, but for people who are, it's mind-blowing. Thanks!
Please, if you haven't yet, it would be so interesting if you reacted to another cover and compared the two! If you decide to go ahead, THIS is the other cover I would recommend: A "retrofitted" version with Haley Reinhart and Postmodern Jukebox. Get ready to be thrown for a loop! th-cam.com/video/m3lF2qEA2cw/w-d-xo.html
Yes, not a sound from a usually vocal crowd for 4 seconds at the end. Brilliant person/performance. Sorry if I tick anyone off, but that he lost to a cute but squeaky young girl was a shock and major disappointment. I watched that series and he was THE best of all. Public voted 'cute', not 'talent'.
The reason is so different is because of his story behind it, singing it from a completely different. place and perspective than intended, then add outstanding vocals. too boot

The place where you paused, you missed how long the silence was before the audience started clapping. They were in awe.
I'm pretty sure that was added artificially to the recording for dramatic effect.
Talent ! Phenomenal

LOVE Forestella as well!
Brian’s performance of this song is my most favorite performance by a singer on AGT. ❤
Brian is amazing and so pleased you checked this one out. This always gives me the chills 😊
The full 5 seconds of silence before the applause says it all. So good
Howie's mesmerized look says it all~~~
Been waiting for this!!! He is an amazing singer. Love his rendition with all the emotion. everything you hear him do is purposeful and deliberate. Yes, that is his mom they keep showing.
For me this is the best rendition of this song I've ever heard
Beautiful voice beautiful man beautiful soul…God bless you Brian❤😅😊
He came back for AGT Champions too... his version of Man in the Mirror was sooo good... Thanks John... Brian is amazing and one of the nicest people... so much content on his page.. and so many talented friends... Anything you choose from him is worth watching..
I luv Brian and his version of 'Creep' but you should go back and watch his first audition with Queen's 'Somebody to Love'
A masterclass how to sing a song well, very well❤
Brian is amazing. Had the pleasure of seeing him in an Off-Broadway show, really nice guy. I would totally recommend checking out Vincint Cannady's cover of this too.
I have watched Vincint's version over and over and get chills every single time. Brian and Vincint both hit it out of the park.
There's a pair of sisters from the Voice a few years back that did an incredible version of Creep. Would love to see you watch that one as well. You will really enjoy it!!😊
Another great Creep cover is from the Korean group Hoppipolla. They were founded during the tv show Superband. I highly recommend it!
Love this version of this song❤
He is an incredible singer. You really need to check out some of his other covers, especially Shallow and praying!
He really should have won that season. He had a super powerful voice and so much control over his voice. Every single performance was memorable.

Another very impressive AGT Creep performance in this kind of way is done by Tom Ball, he did the whole song, you should do that one as well.
O que se pode dizer mais de um fenómene e um gránde artista❤❤
That's what he was feeling...
He gives me chills
Él canta increíble! Te fijas como al final se quedo todo en silencio un momento!

Thanks!
The contrast between the soft, airy-ness way he started and the ridiculous belting just draws us in even more.
You should here him sing Somebody to Love by Queen on AGT
Best performance on AGT.
Brian sings with Superfruit's cover of Katy Perry's RISE .. incredible!
Just WOW‼So impressive‼
Great reaction. His version of " Somebody to love" is also great. 🤗
If you've not checked out his version of Man in the Mirror by michael jackson, he makes it his own as well , love it
I agree, that you should go back and react to his AUDITION on AGT! 😊 he sang Queen's "Somebody to Love"
realmente es una actuación que no me canso de ver. También hay una versión hecha por un grupo que se llama HOPPIPOLLA que es maravillosa .
You must hear Tom Ball AGR rendition of this too!❤❤❤
🤘🤘🤘
That's his mother😊
You should watch his intro on AGT, he explains that as a gay kid growing up he always felt out of step, different, a creep (I know what he went thru).
ya should hear him and matt bloyd doin celine dion and barbara streisand's tell him l actually prefer their's instead of the original
My favorite cover of Creep, better than the original in my opinion.
Angels walk among us in public, In my opinion 😮and follow
Have you ever Post Modern Jukebox featuring Haley Reinhardt doing her cover of Creep?? It is amazing.
Brian have a love voice, but I don’t know he don’t have more opportunities
It's his Mom
Brian did an awesome job ! It was his mom, Brian is a gay gentleman !
That was mom...

Also check Voiceplay…they have some awesome covers, including Creep
You paused too early at the end. The biggest compliment he received was the total silence at the end. You missed it!

This is a hot take, but I actually prefer this to the original! 😬🤷♂️ fight me! 😑😜😂

Very disappointed in the voters he should have won
