Master of the Delve is a ongoing video series where I explore everything Delves have to offer in World of Warcraft. I'm trying obtain all achievements and complete all aspects of delves. In these videos I'll be doing full playthroughs of each variant of all 13 Delves available in season 1 of The War Within. Just completed all tier 11 delves as prot warrior ilvl 608 and got the Delver of The Depths Achi. your videos were informative and helped me realise it was achievable, took a bit of skill and a bit of luck! Some of the runs were deathless too, thank you! Uploaded the runs to my channel.

Spell Reflect reduces magic damage by 20%, so it's very valuable to use during Stinging Swarm.
Yeah that’s a good point. Always forget that added text on Spell Reflect!

Yeah the challenge is there. Keep at it and refine your play and it will get easier. ILvL will help too. I have been playing prot warrior for 20 years! So crazy!
Btw you can out range stinging swarm. (At least I can on ret pally)
@@ploinks yeah a few other people have said that. I think staying in is better if you can. But good to know there is an option to avoid it.

The delve we got the other day, in the spider zone, was super easy. I would pull 2-3 packs and drag them throughout the delve, so the crazed monsters would run them over. The smaller, mid sized mobs would insta die, and the bigger ones would get to half or less. I must've got lucky on mob placement, cause I didn't have to deal with any of the buffed zervik mobs, cause the monster runners killed them all. I've done t8s on my priest and mage with 566ilvl or lower ilvl. With my brann being like 38-40ish, my mage can massive slow and lower defensives with abilities, and priest can MC targets that'll do 20-40% of your damage, but blizz silently made it where you can't mc elite mobs anymore. Doesn't really matter the tho, the regular mobs hit so freakin hard, it was just nice to be able to skip elite mobs and use them against everything, and bosses.
yeah, seems like Delves change day to day. Maybe they are starting to stabilize now. I'm still having fun with them and trying to complete all of the achievements with them.
Most things are realy good to do solo as prot warrior. Thing is it takes so long you start to mess up yourself or no more room to fight in😂

So, I did this too on my prot warrior last week. is there any reason to do T9-11 again? It feels like this has no purpose at all, or do it more than once? I also think that its way too easy even with way lower ilvl. You can just range pull and let Brann do all the work if you really want to. Takes a lot of time but it works. And btw. you can totally outrange it, just pull him to the end of the place were you had him, when he starts casting, leap to the bridge, wait... then move towards him so he doesnt cross the bridge where he resets. He will cast this other spell while you move towards him, dodge it and rinse and repeat. This also made the boss totally trivial.
I’m getting all the achievements. That’s all there really is for 9-11. Im also playing the game as intended. I’m not trying to use bugs or cheese mechanics to get through the content. That’s how I prefer to play.
You can outrange the swarm on that boss, just make sure he doesnt go on the ramp leading in. I take him to the far side of the room and I go towards the ramp.
yeah, some other folks have said that too. I think ignore pain/victory rush through it is better if you can swing it so you can keep dpsing through that phase. But for those who can't get through it, good to know there is a way to range it.
Unless they changed it (I did an 11 as Prot Warrior last reset; don't remember the exact day) you can definitely outrange the stinging swarm. You can leap away an make it out; so it would be roughly a 30-40 yard range. It'll be just far enough that Brann should get teleported to you, which is a reasonable indicator. It just makes it *really* risky at times to dodge impale, and also makes the fight take probably 2-3x as long.
hmm..in my testing I could never range it without resetting the fights. Either way, I think the way I am doing it is the better approach. Maybe for parties they'd want their ranged and healer to try and range it.

@@WraithRPG Mind you, I was in the other variation where the arena is probably 3-4 times larger because you loop back to the start and fight in that area; so that gave me a lot more room to maneuver in. Not saying either strategy is better or not, they both work. I'd much rather have just did it like you and not have to spend 10+ minutes going in and out.
I was also on my last life and didn't quite know the distance I could avoid the damage from the burrow on so my DPS time was atrocious.

Like the video, maybe just a quick like 5 second snipit if you mousing over your gear before you do stuff like this so we can get a rough idea on if you are geared for the content or not and if itd be doable by someone with similar gear lvl

I'd love to get the setting you have where below the enemy marker, it shows the upcoming spells. Is it with DBM?

I noticed no warriors ever use spell reflect for the 25% reduced magic damage taken for 5 secs, even using shield wall more often, you reduce the cd on it by 1 sec every 10 rage with anger management talent, since most of our abilities cost 20-40 rage, it shaves off 2-4 secs every ability, and I play colossus build for big dam, cause warrior is just freakin tanky as is.
this is pretty much exactly how I'm playing. I'm talented into Anger Management and Impenetrable Wall. I use Spell reflect pretty much on CD but I do hold it for key spells sometimes.
I finished a T9 with my 595 rogue. Quite difficult and definitely not time efficient. Went into a T10 and got melted.
You definitely want to be over 600 iLvL to do T11. T10 is iLvL 623+ Im doing T11 at 608 iLvL.
I wish i had your shield slam aura icon thing you have near your person.
Thats just the base game effect. I don’t have an addon for that.

You can invis pot unique mobs
yeah, you just need invis pots!
You don't need to collect every gem. And you don't need to kill every mob. It would have saved you a ton of time. At least it is like that in a T8. I haven't tried anything higher
I needed every Gem on the 1st floor to reach 100% and that requires killing everything on that floor. I’m not using invisibility pots or cheesing. I’m doing all the content.
