I just never expected how right I was that this practice was literally Infect the entire gaming industry. @@meno2294 Have you played Diablo Immortal? This is like micro-transaction Preschool compared to that. But I do agree that this kind of Quality of life content being only purchasable is very annoying and it does open the doors for even more of this kind of thing in WoW.

It’s just peoples way of justifying their own decisions. I bought the mount because I wanted it. I hate the price and think it should have been an earn able in game mount.

I don’t think I’d go as far as a funding campaign for this. But maybe asking for it as a Christmas present is reasonable. If you spend a lot of time in wow, it’s just as real as anything else. You’re spending money for something you’re interacting with. No different than a concert ticket.

It really is BS. $90 is insane. I *can* afford it, I think I’ll _probably_ buy it because I missed Long Boi and even if I reach gold cap I don’t feel like camping the BMAH and fighting over it if it ever appears, and _technically_ $90 is still cheaper than what it would cost to sell WoW tokens for the gold, but holy hell that’s still way too much for a cosmetic…

It feels like this one was strategic. Everyone wants to have an auction house at their finger tips and you can't get it in game now ...so they are seeing how much they can get out of the player base.

@@WraithRPG I did +8's weekly until I was maxed on heroic gear, I did +11's once it twice to just do it, and I have ?? Zekvir down, other than that, I prefer grouped content

Have you tried any high tier delves? Those have been just the right amount of challenge for me and you can take them at your own pace. 20th Anniversary stuff is sweet. I’ll be going for all the T2 sets or at least the 5 or 6 I can use on alts.

whoa! 2300 PVP is a no joke accomplishment. grats! I have no idea how the M+ Elite think or select people. I probably only got groups cause they all needed a tank.

Yeah Grim Batol is definitely my least favorite and probably my lowest scoring run. You need very high dps to get down the dragon boss with the rainbow tornados. The rest of the fights aren’t too bad.

I’m not pushing you into it, if it’s not for you, then it’s not for you. I most definitely was not carried by anyone. I put in the work, learned mechanics and played my role well through this journey.

That’s surprising to me that people would be in a +10 and not know the fights.

@@Famedawg I guess that depends on your definition of casual. I don’t raid, I don’t have a serious guild, I usually play less than 3 months out of every expansion and this is the first time I’ve ever attempted a mythic plus achievement. But I do take the things I do seriously and put effort into them when I want to reach a goal. But if a game stops being fun to me I just don’t play it. Being at the top isn’t worth the grind or the homework to me. I usually think of my gaming style as hardcore casual.

@@WraithRPG A reasonable metric is probably a combination of 80/20 goes based off timeplayed/accomplishments. The other details just shows you aren’t interested in that type of content or for many others it ends up being a skill issue. Either way I think you do a great job at making content!! I think the way we play can heavily determine the self life we get from a wow expansion. I also have a friend right now from rl that is playing. He started tanking this expansion so he thinks he’s doing big things now 😆. He wanted the 2k mount from m+. It’s taken him almost 2 months to get it….for various reasons😂😇. Now he’s going to try for Keystone Master. The problem is he has a one track mind. He will NOT do anything else other than m+. Knowing him he will pound 4-6hrs per evening into ONE goal for weeks and then need a break right in the middle of the 20th anniversary event. 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@Famedawg Hey! Thanks for the compliment. Making content becomes the driving factor at some point so that skews the distinction a bit. I guess i think of hardcore players as the ones who Raid Mythic, are only interested in the hardest content and typically look down on a player like myself who plays alone and will most likely never cap out my ilevel. Not to mention i don't use weak auras or raider.io! It didn't take me too long in terms of play sessions to get KSM but I just did a little bit here and there because i don't really enjoy the group environment very much. Delves and blizzards new focus on solo content has given the game a lot more appeal to me. And i think my investment in that content has opened up some doors to doing other stuff like M+. You've got this! Don't let it intimidate you, just do your best and have fun with it. Put in some time learning the mechanics and you'll make progress and it will stop feeling so daunting. Thanks for watching!

yeah, this is sound advice. I will say that for the most part people were pretty cool through my journey. I only encounter a couple of name blame groups. Everybody else was cool.

Thanks for sharing! Yeah the Higher Tier Delves are a good challenge to sharpen your skills and get a bit more confidant in your own capabilities.

Yeah, I have only experienced it from a Tank point of view. Sometimes i got rejected because i don't use the expected addons. But in general I never had a problem getting into groups. Thanks for the sub and support! much appreciated!

Yeah, I feel you. In those low keys things are pretty uninspired. I suggest being geared to around 610, researched on the specific dungeon you are shooting for and just jumping to +6 or +7. Thanks for watching!
