I hate when a copy cat motorcycle company attempt to steal the Indian Legacy,kind of like fake veterans show up on memorial day with fake medals and stolen valor.
Same plant that Victory motorcycles were made in. The Victory brand should have never gone away, they needed the better fit and finish that the Indians have.

I traded a 2021 Goldwing DCT(fantastic bike) for a new Springfield, fits me so much better and has way more soul. Goldwing was an appliance, Springfield was a motorcycle.

They do. Some of us that don't work for Indian even get an employee discount. Indian Ambassadors get an even larger discount on parts than the employee discount.
I was once explained by a Polaris employee, discounts do happen with several rules.. during covid, no employees got preference on a new bike because of shortages. Discounts dont really apply to high demand products or special edition bikes. Your base models employees receive discounts when they are available. Employees need benefits too..

you need to get rid of those timers stop worrying about how fast you can make a bike an start focusing on what really matters like all of these codes ive been reading about that your bikes are throwing and trying to dog your employees by trying to make the bikes race threw all the stations as fast as possible . we all now that all those records that you say you are keeping are for company liability and have very little to do with the customer quantity is not quality

This location was in fact the Victory flagship plant for assembly of Victory Motorcycles! Spirit Lake Iowa. Former 2017 Victory Magnum X-1 loved that bike.. upgrade to the challenger when it was released.
Why are the staff not wearing the same clothing . Indian should be providing at least t shirts so that staff are not wearing loose fitting shirts that could get caught in machinery . I notice this a lot with American factory workers . Surely it,s a safety issue .

Harley copies that aren’t as good as a real Harley .here in Australia you hardly see an Indian as they don’t handle our weather or distance,s .then there’s the electrics witch aren’t up to it .things like overheating, cast frames that snap ,gears sticking .the only one worth anything is the scout .

Polaris is one of the largest motorsport companies in the business, most of their sales numbers are not from t-shirts.
Original harley davidson was bankrupt by 1969. Had parent company amf not bought the harley brand and assets and kept it afloat, harley would not be here. If you do your research you will find out amf was responsible for most if not all of harleys evo motor. The original indian factory did close but the indian motorcycle brand did not. The brand changed hands several times but did not die. Polaris was the one with deep enough pockets to revive indian and build quality motorcycles. Indians are not warmed over victorys. There are no parts on an indian that were common to victory and or interchangeable. Polaris did a good job reviving indian and if you will take the time you will find out that a 30k roadmaster has most of the amenities that would require a harley rider to pony up 46k plus for a cvo. Standard on the roadmaster is heated seats and hand grips, electrically height adjustable windshield, all led lighting, electronicaly remote locking saddle bags and trunk, fox racing mono air shock rear suspension with all most 5" of travel, 116" thunderstroke motor with gear drive zero maintenance primary instead of an antiquated high maintenance drive chain. Take a look at harleys new street glide cvo and road glide cvo fairings and tell me who the copy cat is. Harleys new fairings resemble the indian chieftan/roadmaster darkhorse and the indian challenger. Indian came to the market with inverted forks on the challenger 4 years ago harley cvo's will finally have them by the end of 2023. I have owned and ridden both, and harley has some catching up to do.

It is a cool facility right near Okoboji. Unfortunately, they quit doing live tours of the factory during Covid, but it was fun to see regardless.

Stopped making the Classic and then added all these things I don't want. ABS, bags, touch screen, etc.

Indian and Harley are made in the USA but some of their parts come from overseas.
