How do you play chords of four notes in a violin?
Good question... that can be done by giving more weight on the strings, BUT at the same tame, bow speed. We'll make a video on that!
Play the bottom two notes like a double stop, and shift to the other two strings the same way. Practice the four notes separately in based on the strings and eventually put them together. Move the bow as if you're making a string crossing with slurred notes but faster.

The orchestra overpowers
Woah, that orchestral accompaniment is WAY overdone. Too loud. You're not supposed to have to bang your fiddle in order to get the sound out.
Far too much brass. Way too much brass.
It's totally out of character for Kreisler. It lacks charm and finesse.
Richard Hendrix My thoughts exactly.
I think the violin is reduced in volume compared t the orchestra so that you can play along. This isn't how the original sounds if my memory serves me well.
The original keyboard accompaniment is so perfect. This orchestral version is really heavy handed. It has lost all the open clarity that keyboard has, and obscures even further by adding extra rhythms in the accompaniment.
i dont know who arranged the orchestral accompaniment because it ABSOLUTELY sucks, atleast david garret is there, he is just obnoxiously good at the violin
Richard Hendrix is spot on! Whoever orchestrated this wonderful piece of Kreisleriana must NEVER have heard the expression, "Less is more!" IMHO about 1/4 of the orchestration works, and the rest is dross.
