Apple loves to say now that repairs are not profitable... trust me, that was an extremely profitable repair... it's just having the knowledge and skill to do something like this in the first place that is hard to master.

This is the way to showing how to fix a board in TH-cam your old videos is not good to understand but this one really great thanks boss
It's easy to forget some times, even for experienced techs. Whenever you have what _seems_ like a dead display and you know it's not OLED - before doing anything, shine a powerful light on the display. Often its only backlight that is out.

But did you bypassed that component you knocked off?
Yes. We supplied voltage to the other pad so voltage could reach the FPC connector. The 2 pads connect to each other via the filter that was knocked off. The filter is more like a fuse. Used for protection.
