- On this episode I head into TJM Hunter Valley to get the new Bendix Ultimate 4X4 Brake Upgrade Kit and I’m so stoked that its in my ranger!!!
This kit is a game changer for anyone thats modifying their 4wd and adding all those extra accessories that change the way our 4wds perform and handle on and off the tracks and your brakes is definitely something that gets overlooked in this process

Wasn’t the the disks you had on before the T2s or T3s? You change the disks and pads on the back?
Yeah I had t2 discs and Bendix pads, turns out Bendix did the testing on that setup and they didn’t work together as best they could so Bendix developed this specific kit
Noticed you said you had 35's on. How much lift and offset (if any) are you using?
Mine are pos20 offset mate and sitting around 2.5 inch lift in the front

If your vehicle with all the add-ons is legal for vehicle mass and you are experiencing sub-standard braking, then ford has something to answer for. The car should have been designed to function properly with factory brakes within its weight limits. If it doesn't Ford has dudded us with crappy, substandard brakes that need upgrading. I trust your judgement that the car needs a brake upgrade, so this reflects badly on Ford given the price of the vehicle and its purpose.
