Congrats. Your experience was better than mine. All four of mine were extracted the same day, my birthday in 2000. The Dentist, and Army doctor excited to use his training for the first time outside of school (He was young and recently commissioned) yanked so hard, on teeth not ready to come out (Wanted to take all four for some reason) that my jaw splintered, and I my tongue would flick across them now and then for probably a year. Eventually they wore down and receded beneath the gum. Yep, it's good to have memories of my former service..lol
I had my two right top and bottom wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and yeah it can be quite sore and dull pain afterwards but U will have painkillers and antibiotics it's not too bad good luck with your surgery
Such a helpful video! Seems my teeth are in the same way that yours were before you took them out. I’ve got my surgery tomorrow and I’m a bit nervous, hoping I have a smooth recovery like you!
Yay, I am so happy to hear it all went well and you're feeling well. I was in so much pain after having mine removed and I had to take it easy on the painkillers as I was breastfeeding. .😫
@@EmmaRosenBooks haha right. My husband was meant to go to work the next day and was bawling, so he stayed home an extra day. When he got his done he just kept up on his pain meds and was perfectly fine during recovery.
The only pain that was an issue was due to swelling aggravating the nerve that runs up the side of my face. Once I’d realised that was the issue and took ibuprofen (checked with dentist) it was fine. The surgery itself I don’t remember leaving me feeling very sore.
@@EmmaRosenBooks even u took ibuprofen they did not reduce completely? How many minutes did ibuprofen help before the worst pain comeback again and take another ibuprofen. You know I'm expecting worst pain that cannot manageable
Hey, I’m 21 and my wisdom teeth have started to come through one impacted and one normal, they’re both giving me pain so I know if I go to the dentist they will get me to have them taken out - I’m like you in that I am incredibly nervous about dental work because of a previous mouth operation which was a little traumatic - can you ask for general anaesthetic? Would they give that to me on the basis of me being so nervous??
How were you waking up from the anaesthesia?? Need 3 of mine out in two weeks. Never been put to sleep so worried about that and Worried I’ll wake up chatting waffle hahah
What did you do with your phone while you were having surgery? Having my surgery on the 11th and my letter says to leave your phone at home. Having all 4 wisdom teeth removed 😬

Oh my goodness - no way I could have coped with less painkillers! You should get a medal.

I asked for a general on those grounds. They may be keen to remove all of them if you’re under. Although I refused and said only 2.
If you take pain killer how many hours will help you to reduce the pain?
It definitely gave me a couple of hours.
Other said even you take pain killer the pain will not stop is tha true? I'm scared to extract impacted tooth
What do you mean couple of hours? Is it 2hours?
